Your best bet is to find a wire that comes on with the switch. Then run a relay directly off the battery and have that wire trigger the relay so the amp some on and off with the switch. That way you don't accidentally run your battery down. I have a windshield on my bike so the speakers are plenty loud especially at highway speeds when you need a good clear sound. The 420B system really delivers!

my system does the same thing when i turn on the system the bluetooth makes loud cartoon like sounds for a few seconds then plays the music on the mp3 player plugged in or not. any way to eliminate it? could it be turned off with a cell phone app?

After seeing all the wiring cutting I decided to go whit the Rockville setup straight up connections to the battery already made

Just hook up a kill switch or you will drain your battery

@@mikeharden Toggle switch? That way the unit only powers up when you want it to instead of each time you start the bike up.
