And the bomb torn city’s. The people are extremely nice and will fight to the end to keep there country. Refugees camps with 1000’s simply trying to make it but within those camps men prey on the weak. At least over 30 proxies ,tribes, militias, military’s all trying to claim a piece they’ve fought over their country so long they are fighting for rubble and destruction at this point. It’s extremely sad to see people fight and give their lives for such a bombed destroyed country. My prayers to them truly.

I'm fully uninformed on this subject, so take this as nothing more than an observation and a bit if pondering. If I'm off base, that's fine. I plan to read up regardless. Colonialism is certainly in play. The thing that jumps out at me more, though, is the hard tilt toward god, or religion, or whatever you want to call it. Why does that so often seem to be the case in these scenarios? I can't help but wonder if it's more a result of these situations, or actually the cause. At least in part, anyway. I tend to think cause. Like I said, though, that's an assumption from someone who can't make any sense of the idea of god. I'd be curious to hear thoughts from someone who has faith.
@@iotaje1 not sure I understand the question. Much of poorer non-western countries (Australia being counted as western) can be viewed as colonies with distributed ownership by transnational corporations. Take my home country of Russia, for example. The west in general and EU in particular supported the regime of Putin up until 2 years ago, which included nice business deals where they bought what was stolen from Russians and a supply of weapons "for internal use only", so that the business can keep flowing. Now Russians who had no say in this are blamed and taken of the list of humans possessing any rights (many of the sanctions against simple Russians within the EU clearly violate ECHR). And they still buy stolen Russian resources (especially ridiculous in the EU, who declared Putin illegitimate president)! How is this not colonialism?

why didn't you ask the father why he don't go with them at the very least !!!! he actually should be the one going to collect garbage to feed them and not the other way around

Syria is a strange place indeed, I’ve been to places in country that look like and old worn down amusement park, come to find out that Syria was very progressive and doing well becoming somewhat “westernized” and flourishing, I’ve seen the beautiful landscape of the Euphrates river.
Why is there no compare and contrast, or basic situational awareness amongst our global citizens? As a privileged Aussie, I know these kids are being robbed. There is a serious lack of fact flow in these places. It makes me angry that in an age labled the "information age" THIS can be part of reality. $0.02
Consequence of neocolonialism.
Do you see these kids having any access to the information age to know any better?
@@iampdv In Syria?
