We stayed at The Boardwalk on our last trip. Beautiful resort. Our room was across from the quiet pool (closest to Epcot) and we could see the skyliner while in the hot tub. We could also see some of the fireworks. The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to go through the lobby to get to the boardwalk in order to get our drink refills in our resort cups. It would be nice if they made a way for people to get to the boardwalk from that side of the resort.
Sounds like a great room! They should have fountain drink machines at the pools! They are also lacking a quick service location in the main building. I know the boardwalk has everything, but it still feels like your leaving the resort to eat and shop.
In the Lobby of Disney's Boardwalk an elephant statue contains a Hidden Mary Poppins. The elephant statue is a replica of Lucy the Elephant located in Margate, NJ. She is six stories high and is listed on the National Park Registry of Historical Landmarks. Not a hotel.
That's a great question! Personally, I would choose Old Key West because I really enjoy the beachside theming, the one bedroom rooms are beautiful and very roomy, and the price is more affordable. However, you'll need to take a bus to get to any of the theme parks, unless you have your own car or choose to use ride share. Boardwalk has the better location to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and you also have endless dining options as well. If you'd like to support our channel by booking your resort and theme park tickets, I'd love to help you out! Thanks, Seth www.castlecrewvacations.com
So happy they added a coffee shop in the hotel. I’m an iced coffee girl so I’m always looking for coffee in the morning before the parks
Same! I think every resort should have a designated coffee shop. Surprises me when resorts like Grand Floridian don't even have one.
Just booked a boardwalk view stay for next year and cannot wait. Thank you for this awesome tour!
That's going to be amazing! Very exciting! Thanks!

Would you recommend staying at the Boardwalk or Old Key West?
