Jake and Emmy from Bright Sun Travels tallied up the cost of a day at Disney for two people - one night at Port Orleans Riverside, two tickets to MK, Genie+, Tron individual lighting lanes, breakfast at the hotel, lunch at Columbia Harbor House and dinner at Skipper's Canteen. It came to a staggering $886.
I like these resort snapshots videos. Lots a great information in a manageable amount of time. I’m interested in learning about Flying Fish; we need the AllEars dining review soon.
I sat in the Nanny Chairs and lived to tell! Seriously though, I loved staying at Boardwalk, especially because we love a delicious relaxing cocktail or two at the end of a busy theme park day, and the nightlife here was excellent. The whole resort feels like its own mini-city, it has everything.
Our favorite hotel especially with its proximity to Epcot & Hollywood Studios. We have stayed on concierge level for the majority of our yearly visits. The staff goes above & beyond always. Our favorite rooms have been Boardwalk view. My only disappointment has been recently with the refurbished decor. The original Inn Keepers lounge was lovely and cozy as was the Belle View Lounge on the main floor. Very reminiscent of the theme of turn of the century Boardwalk. My personal opinion of course.
I like BWI and have stayed there a number of times if I can find a good discount. (which is rare) I do stay at Dolphin more but sometimes, you just need that Disney touch.
Booked an emergency trip for next week with my DVC! I needed a vacation. Staying over the weekend. Looking forward to doing absolutely nothing but relaxing!
Let me add that this is NOT an easy hotel for people with mobility issues. There are only two elevator banks in the entire building, and just getting to the Boardwalk from the hotel is a lot more complex than it needs to be. Obviously it's not impossible to stay, but be prepared for a lot of waiting and taking longer to commute than you expect.
My daughter is a concierge at the Boardwalk and apparently, the Boardwalk is Bob Iger's favorite resort to stay at when he's on property.

Love the Boardwalk, love your vlogs, but your camera is blurry and jumpy.
