in the same time frame he pans over to a transparent screen running a game gear? lol funny to see two things i've never seen before in one video of a small store.
4:55 what's that Nekotako game for super famicom? After some research it looks like a new release. Cool place I had no idea existed. Gotta go back now.
Hey Jim, love your videos cant wait till I'm done my bachelor degree to come there and visit all these shops you visit. Thank you and keep up the amazing content. Hope to meet up one day and do a game shopping spree.
Nice PC Engine LT in there but the most intriguing thing was that PC Engine on the rotating plinth. You can see that the bottom half has been replaced and if you pause the video at just the right time you can just about see what looks like a screen on the back. Is that an original PCE made into a portable? Jim, can you remember what it was?
Interesting store for sure . I saw U.S version of FF Mystic Quest cib at the Surugaya in Akiba and Killer Instinct at the one in Shinjuku (Marui Complex) and that's about it so yeah it's odd to see so many NES and SNES carts at a Japanese store.
nice video there was a great selection of video games to choose from I think I will stick with the xbox and xbox games I hope that the new xbox comes out soon :)
There used to be an import shop down that way about 10 years ago that had lots of current and some previous gen games for NA systems. Almost makes me wonder if they bought some of their stock when they went out.
makes me wonder what most people in japan think when they see north american games being sold in there country since there is quite a few NA exclusives that im sure would be fascinating to some
damn this part of akiba is a maze ! i went looking for this one and could not find it ! I think i was in the wrong part, maybe near the station and not the right covered market ?
do people even collect for NES over there? always seemed weird to me to see those over there like I'm sure a lot of those are already on famicom anyway, but IDK. that's a neat looking shop though!
RUclips has been recommending worse than before so I miss a lot of subscriptions videos I like so I'm hitting the bell more on subscriptions, including you.
Ah kaden no ken chan... i've discovered this one in 2018.. bought there doki doki panic famicom disk €3,- this january... great lt pc engine consoles..
It's easy to find an NES to Famicom converter but and SNES to Super Famicom is a difficult one. So I just Unscrewed my SuFami and take the top off when ever I want to get my Uniracers on.
Jim! Dont go showing all the secrete shops man! Shhh! Its called Kaden no Ken-chans actually. Its a cool little shop more geared twards modding your various consoles and what not. Like you said it is a cool place to check out! 😁 Every one should check it out! Just keep it on the DL😁
Love hearing that Catherine soundtrack playing in the background. You’ve got great taste Jim :).
Very cool find in Akiba. Lots of interesting consoles in those display cabinets. Thanks Jim.
Love your videos dude!
Did anyone else notice the Dreamcast VMU with color screen?! I'd love to know more about that little oddity!
Yes, what was that...
in the same time frame he pans over to a transparent screen running a game gear? lol funny to see two things i've never seen before in one video of a small store.
He sells the kits for people to do those sorts of mods.
He has no English so that's as good as I can give you
2:18 RGB modded PC-Engine LT

Interesting... I see several msx games on the monitors, including the 2020 release Caravan Boomer ( 5:55 ), but only one msx title for sale.
Woah, had no idea about this place. Really cool. Gotta check it out later myself.
There’s stuff around every friggen corner in Akiba. Gotta love it.
Interesting store for sure .

Nice! These obscure little places are very much part of the charm of Akiba.
Love this channel.
You’re making my to do list longer everyday for my next visit Jim......🤦🏾♂️...Cant wait!!🤣😂🤣🤪🤓😁😂
I think I saw this on the Hard Officers channel, cool little shop! I would have given it a peek if I´d known it was there.
Oh the sweet nostalgia! I loved the arcades at Akihabara too
Very interesting. In all my trips I never knew this existed. Thanks dude
I bought a bunch of stuff from this shop. It's not a bad place to have a look
The isle on the other side of the Radio Department Store has arcade stick parts, Sanwa and Seimitsu gear
Japan is awesome such a cool little shop :)

Sounds like Catherine soundtrack in the background. Nice!
That new intro was dope!
Cool video man. Thanks for being my vacation to Japan.
I really hope you picked up that Parasquad for the 32X - I would buy that from you :).
6:32 you should return those famicom cartridges back to its original position ....
That white GBA looks like it is modded with a back light screen.
What a cool place!
that's so cool to see US games in a Japanese game shop
damn this part of akiba is a maze ! i went looking for this one and could not find it ! I think i was in the wrong part, maybe near the station and not the right covered market ?
Just curious how do you find this stuff is there a map?
Missed this video, couple of boxed MSX titles in the bottom left of the case :)
do people even collect for NES over there? always seemed weird to me to see those over there like I'm sure a lot of those are already on famicom anyway, but IDK. that's a neat looking shop though!
More Japanese shopping goodies to view is A-Okay in my books Jim. I'm loving it. 8^)
Anthony..
Are there any stores that you have come across that sell PAL SNES games ?
But how was the pricing? (my eyes suck) but now, what there be nothing there in October when I visit 😩
Can anyone tell me what movie, novel or show that the poster on the wall next to the broken console is from? It's not Kindaichi's Case files is it?
RUclips has been recommending worse than before so I miss a lot of subscriptions videos I like so I'm hitting the bell more on subscriptions, including you.
What’s the name of the song the end of the video?
Wish they're was a detailed map of akiba. I mean really detailed
Did I see a sharp x68000 there?
Ah kaden no ken chan... i've discovered this one in 2018.. bought there doki doki panic famicom disk €3,- this january... great lt pc engine consoles..
Sharp X68000 at 3:00 ?
What's the little console briefly seen rotating on a turntable at about 4 minutes 30 seconds?
Wow retro games worth to buy
Dragon Quest 7 and Zone of the Enders and more all in fantastic new condition for only 100 Yen which is 90 cents US, I'd buy those on the spot.
It's easy to find an NES to Famicom converter but and SNES to Super Famicom is a difficult one.
So I just Unscrewed my SuFami and take the top off when ever I want to get my Uniracers on.
Prett-ay, prett-ayy, prett-ayyy good. 😆
They had NBA shodown 94!for 100 yen, ah the memories

why don't you try the japan traditional market? I mean a place that sells cheap gaming games in Japan

I never thought I see SNES games sold in a Japanese store, however to be fair, I've seen JP N64 games in Las Vegas, so go figure!!
gamernium.com/
the website on those nes boards.
This reminds me of Judgment SCENES!
It would be healthy if I ktonit helped buy games in Japan, and send them to me in Russia for the collection) there is much cheaper
They have some cool stuff except for all the non-Japanese stuff obviously
Still waiting to see my name on the Patreon’s list 😂🙏
