China is heavily involved in international trade, but is not involved in the chaos created by the US and its allies, including in the Red Sea. The chaos in the Red Sea is entirely part of the work of Western countries.
Therefore, China has no reason to get involved in what is happening, especially militarily, even though China continues to speak out and strive for peace.
What's strange is that you are trying to blame China for not wanting to get involved militarily against the Houthis, even though you know the root of the problem lies with the US and its allies who always position themselves as police, prosecutors and at the same time as judges.
You must have seen that the US and its western allies are the ones who most often reject UN resolutions for a ceasefire and efforts to bring about peace.

When the conflict occurred in Sudan in 2023, the Chinese navy was also present in the Red Sea, not to get involved in the conflict, but to protect and evacuate their people.

If you look at the broader picture, you will note that the Chinese have been calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. The Houthis are attacking ships in the Red Sea to try to force a ceasefire too. The Chinese and Houthis therefore share the same political objectives. If you add the fact that Chinese ships are not being targeted, there is no reason for the Chinese to get involved
