  • Following the tenth session of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, is China overtaking the US and Europe in influence? By positioning itself as a neutral mediator in the Gaza conflict and a significant player in trade and investment, will China's strategy of engagement and non-interference resonate within Arabic-speaking nations?

China do not like those Western countries, their colonial history of invasion, massive killing...
China has thousands of years of history, in the earlier time domestic war were consistently, but then China also was the first nation in ancient time that realise and understanding the importance between unity and destruction, and that's how the military general turned emperor created the first ever empire of the Chin dynasty.
China's image was falsely portrait by the west, and being a communist country also make it difficult to defend itself from western smearing on the international stage.
No country is perfect, as time goes we are progressing, our thinking, our behaviour, our knowledge and awareness, all have much deeper understanding, to help us make a better decision.
West dominant around the globe have being created many conflicts and unjust double standard towards others, led by the US.
de-dollarization will help the global economy move to a more balanced status, those benefits from exploitation can be minimised, BRICS can help creating equitable and much fair trade, for both side, really a better deal from the current individual domination of the dollar, all the good goes to the rich and power of the west, leaving the scraps for the poor 2nd and 3rd world countries...
How can the world be balance under??

It is interesting that when you speak of Rome in front of Chinese people, the first thing they will think of is the Roman Empire thousands of years ago, not Italy to Rome today, in fact, not many of them know that Rome exists in Italy. USA was the dominate superpower that emerged from WW2.
Maybe instead of asking what gives USA the power of sanction... you should look into WHY those individuals are sanctioned...
especially when they are open about it and shares the details to the public.
e.g Russia despite it is a part of the UNSC... invaded another sovereign country's capital who is also a member of United Nations.

Just because you want to blindly believe everyone sanctioned is justified, doesn't mean that's true.
The weaponization of dollar is real. It's not just sanction but you can see it more and more, as they kicked Russia out of SWIFT, etc.

I greatly admire Mr. Tangen's analysis. He is insightful yet humorous in his delivery. If this is the temperment and attitude China presents to the Arab countries, then this is a much more appealing approach. No civilized people would want war and suffering for its people. The ancient Silk Road was a beneficial and profitable roadmap for everyone along its path.
David seems determined on being confrontational, pugnacious, condesending. He makes himself repulsive. Why he is a professor is an oxymoron.

By certain metrics, China has already eclipsed the West including the US. For example, PPP for GDP and largest global trading nation. And is the principle of non-interference and 'win-win' (mutually beneficial agreement), the modus operandi of China's approach, is even an issue in international relationships between sovereign nations? I thought that is normal and expected. This is about respect for each other's sovereignty (economically, financially, sociocultural values etc). What has been practised are the unequal relationships and dynamics between a predatory juggernaut (with a small group of allies and vassals) and more populous weaker nations. Oh yes, the concept of universal human rights, liberal and democractic values that trump sovereignty. We are seeing the hypocrisy and double standards of how ithis is playing out. E.g. ICC is only meant for African countries and 'dictators' but not for our allies.

08:14 *🏛️ The Potential Decoupling from the US Dollar*
    - The US's weaponization of the dollar against certain nations has raised concerns about the stability of the currency, pushing countries to explore alternative financial systems.
    - The potential for China to work with its trading partners to break away from dollar hegemony is a growing trend, particularly as the US continues to rack up significant debt.
    - Despite these concerns, some argue that the US dollar's dominance is likely to persist due to its historical role, robust legal framework, and arbitration system.
    13:17 *🗺️ China's Strategic Ambitions*
    - China's foreign policy aims to maintain a sphere of influence in East Asia, ensuring its dominance in the region and promoting its interests.
    - It seeks to achieve its goals through economic rather than military means, positioning itself as a global power without necessarily taking on the leadership mantle.
    - China's strategy is rooted in its desire to secure its economic interests and geopolitical influence, balancing its involvement across different regions.
18:42 *⚖️ US-China Trade Tensions and Their Impact on the Arab World*
    - The US has imposed tariffs on Chinese goods, aiming to curb China's economic growth, but these tariffs have also had unintended consequences for Arab states.
    - Arab countries have benefitted from China's economic growth through increased trade and investment opportunities.
    - The US-China trade rivalry presents both challenges and opportunities for the Arab world, potentially influencing trade patterns, investment flows, and technology access.

The last time the Arabs ( and pagan Turk) confronted the Chinese was in the Battle of Talas 750 CE. The Arab were victorious and from the Chinese prisoners the Arabs learned the secret of papermaking and some says gun powder. Then the paper industry/gun powder tech spread to the west. and the west conquered the world with guns and bible

One of the critical factors why many countries, especially the developing countries, want to deal with China in trade and investment is that cooperating with China is more comfortable than the U.S.A thanks to China's basic foreign policies, especially non interference in other countries' internal affairs, while being with the U.S.A is often under pressure.

How can Kinas deal with Africa change Africa. Wen dealing with corrupt African leaders enrich of create kleptocractic circle. Kina is interested to promote itself & does not care who she deals with is knias policy. Nation can never change untill it come with a change from itself. On the other hand no big power can be a winner by using force of military muscle strategy. I think the USA foreign policy is mislead or exhousted in the middle eastern world. However the western world especially USA must humble itself to defeat it's Competitor & by that I mean balance what is missing. And ppl tell helping the isreal without Condition sends an alarm to the world for not to trust USA esp.

Thousands if not millions of small and large-scale industries have closed and evacuated from China... poverty & hunger are growing.. chinese people (aka huminerals) are getting desperate.. their only options are to LIE FLAT or EAT IT.. that includes eating gutter/sewer oil or spit oil!
youth unemployment has reached such striking levels that the government stopped publishing the relevant data..
ponzi real estate schemes & shrinking/aging population means demand for houses has slumped and property prices have plunged..Hong Kong & Beijing Property Markets are collapsing.. even Richest Man LI Ka-Shing Urgently Sells Homes at huge discount..First Evergrande, now Sunac, another big chinese developer files for US bankruptcy protection..
There is flooding after flooding too.. they destroyed the environment so much that everything is eroding & washing away..China Become a Vast Ocean! Typhoons Doksuri & Khanun Strike: Railways, Bridges, Roads Destroyed..
even chinese type 093 nuclear attack submarine sank recently in the Yellow Sea killing 100 men
Things always fail slowly until they suddenly break.. soon china will break apart like the former soviet union!

China and Russia are both making political advances in Africa. China,s upgrading infrastructure and domestic needs is influencing people in African and countries in the Americas. Installing more military bases does not make that many new friends. Russia's large food deliver to Cuba, and China's providing large solar panel farms will not go unnoticed by Latin/South American countries. So they are making political advances in more than Africa.
