Great drone by the looks of it, The Autel EVO Lite+ , The video looked far better than the DJI, if they were both raw video from them, Kelly is to funny, both of you should do more videos together !
The new Autel Lite+ drone is very impressive, get testing out in the field during a real estate shoot. Ken and Kelly work so well together. And you even managed to use the Port-of-Pot as a prop, funny stuff indeed. Great video, and thanks for sharing.

Very interesting Ken. Well you & Kelly r always a treat together (loved seeing Kelly's more 'serious' side..lol) .. But this video was very informative from several different aspects. First off, I love the footage from the Autel, (I wish they weren't so expensive tho). But also The information about the real estate & drone footage of the property also very interesting to know. As an older gentleman w some health issues (& as 'newbie' drone pilot of about a year & a half now, flying & learning the trade) I'm addicted to the hobby & would like to study for the part 107 this year & maybe make 'That 1 last BIG career change b4 retirement'.. I believe there is a HUGE market for this in the area I live.. Great video brother 💯! Keep em coming!

4:35 I do have one of those floaty things, but I'd never use it to deliberately land on the water, I'd only ever use it so that if it DID crash into water, I'd increase my chance of getting it back.

Might graduate from the Evo1 to the Evo Lite Plus. Video looked clearer then the DJI.

I have a hard time admitting it, but the video did look way better on the Evo than the Mavic.
@Darkpaw TheWolf A true technology warrior pays homage to superior tech. I own neither one but I appreciate the strengths of both companies. Overall quality DJI seems better than all the companies out there where as Autel is a close 2nd.
I probably will buy The Mavic 3 but the Evo Elite +, and the Evo line gives me pause to see if the Evo 3 will be as cutting edge as the Evo lite.
@@anthonyedwards9240 I market myself as "Proudly DJI exclusive", but when new tech comes along like this, it strongly makes me rethink my position. There's rumors of an Air 3. It will be interesting to see if that goes anywhere, and if it does, what they do to stay ahead of Autel. Most of us have long since stopped begging for a Phantom 5, because it's time to admit it will never happen. The Mavic line seems to have taken over for that range, and the Inspire will continue as the high-end series.
But man, the color science right out of the box on those Autels...it's stunning.
@Darkpaw TheWolf I agree, and that is why I am not rushing to buy either one. As true Techie I owe it to myself to get the best technology for my money. I still lo e this Evo lite plus for its out of the box video quality; especially at night.
I found out that I need a Part 107 license to post pictures therefore I am studying to take the test.
By March or April if the Evo 3 comes out I may just buy that. I may just buy the Evo lite plus, and wait until next year for the next best advance in Drones. I wanted the Mavic 3 for reliability and features like the follow me feature. Dji seems to nail the follow me feature with their Drones.
Ken - I'm curious... It's been a few months since this video was produced. What is Kelly's (spelling?) opinion now on the Lite+? Has his opinion changed? Thanks!

4:04 you got some terrible flickering in the sky. People were complaining on snow environments having this where the ground is brighter than the sky, but never when it’s this clear. We’re you using ND filters Ken?

Thanks for the video and I was wondering if Autel has all the restrictions on where you can fly. I'm a safe pilot but I live a few miles from the local university stadium and on game days I'm in a no-fly zone plus a couple other spots I've been locked out of that were miles away from.
Autel doesn't have any flight restrictions. It may warn you about being in a restricted area, but it won't prevent you from launching....
Question why is it gated out there in the wilderness

I'll come out and film some real estate for an Autel Evo Lite+! I have much more time than money!
As far as the floaties go, I think they're dumb for intentional landings on water, but they serve the same purpose they do on helicopters. Floats on helos aren't really designed for sustained floating or takeoff/landing, they're designed so when the bird flips over in the water (which it will) it remains at the surface instead of sinking to the bottom. I would never intentionally land on water, but if I was flying my drone (which is the same one this video is about) over water very regularly for my job or something like that, I might consider a floating device just so it's easier to recover than if it didn't have one at all. Could at least salvage the SD card in that situation.

I’m curious about that too. I hate the geofencing on my DJI Mini. I didn’t know about it until I bought the drone and I have to drive miles away to use it. I understand why it exists and it’s definitely a good thing but I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew about it beforehand

I get just a little over a mile on my evo lite + in the same area I get 3 miles with every DJI I've owned...Returning mine..Surely not worth $1700
How far do you need to go with it? Can you still keep it within VLOS 3 miles out?
@@tpwilliams It's not always about how far you can go. Obviously if signal holds up 3 miles out anything below that should be great. And yes, I can see my drone at 3 miles at night with my Lights but I don't usually fly that far.
