    This is why the oaks down in the western cape struggle to catch any shad. 95% of KZN fisferman overfish shad. I mean some don't stop unless the fish stop.

      Hi Dave , this was 2023. Recently, the water quality is very poor, I personally will not fish from the KZN coast. Thank you and take care

    Shad season is closed. Why are they still catching and bragging about it

      Hi Merrick, please look at the date. Shad season was open, closes on the 1 October, you are still allowed to catch during the closed season, but, has to re released, thank you, and take care

    How do the fishermen get off those rocks? Do they have to stay there until the water goes out?

      Hi Reddy, you can only fish on that rock on the low tide. One must be very careful, thank you and take care

      @@offroad4life I thought as much. I've fished there often, but I haven't been on that rock. I reckon it's quite risky. I'll stick to the surf 😂 I wouldn't want to be there and lose track of the tide and then I have to swim to safety.
