Hi Danny, life has returned to normal for most of the working class , i am missing your daily videos and updates.

I lived in Pennington 50 years ago. It was pretty much pristine then. Our road was Umdoni Road South. There was a small lake at the back of our house. A mystical crocodile lived in that lake but | saw it with my own eyes. I was with my friend Nicolas. He died of aids. It seems that the lake has now been built over. We were friends with the Hawksworths who had a house just to the left of the station. I went to Sezela school. I had 8 people in my class and that was from the whole zone. We had a bus that used to collect all of the kids. It took an hour to fetch them from all of the surrounding farms. The bus drivers name was Govinder. He gave us paw paws on the last day of school. We used to wait for the bus by the big tree opposite Dino's. Dino used to do tea with scones and jam at 4 o' clock every afternoon. I caught a snake once whilst waiting for the bus. It was a night adder and caused quite a stir. Our headmasters name was Mr Hill. He loved cricket and the cane. When the flying ants came out there were so many toads that you couldn't see an inch of road. If a car had gone by you would see 2 tracks of dead toads and you could follow them right back to the house that the car had come from. The fishing then was something that just could not be conceived of now. There was a garrick run where that whole beach was lined with caught fish from Pennington to Umdoni and the tidal pool was full of swimming fish that had been washed over the wall. At night you could catch crayfish with a torch in the rockpools at low tide. I had a friend. Her name was Samantha Davis. I wonder if she is still alive. It was such a lovely place that I have never really been able to move past that. I am old and live in England now.

So that's not Pennington or Sezela. Is that Mzinto?

Danny hi, I must tell you I take my hat off to you seeing you out there almost everyday come rain or sunshine to provide anglers with these videos. I am however so disappointed that there are so many subscribers but so few viewers. I think they use your site for info during the sardine run and then simply disappear until the next season.
