    Great vid!!! I loved the fact that you explained how to flat twist and then demonstrated it. Some people are too ignorant to understand that people learn by HEARING and WATCHING. Thank you sooo much!!! Keep doing what your are doing, girl!!!

    Watching this again after flat twisting my hair for two years thanks to you. I'm still so grateful. Rewatching this now, I realize I've been doing Method 2 far more often than Method 1, though Method 1 seemed easier to me two years ago(Method 2 seemed easy but not as much). So many comments below are grateful for this tutorial, you've changed hair lives. I hope you realize that's a gift!

    THank you sooo much!!! This is the first tutorial of the flat twist...that is actually comprehensive...and I could actually see what you were doing and hear what you are doing today...instead of trying to figure it out from your hand movements...I flat twisted my hair while I was watching this vid...and it actually looks progressively better from the first one I did to the last one...so thanks!!! BEST Flat Twist tutorial video!! I'm grateful!

    OMG. I know how to flat twist now. The first method is what I was able to catch on to. I have the technique, now I just have to keep practicing so I don't forget. I am so happy. Thanks Laila!

    Thanks so much for this tutorial Ms. Laila. I tried your first method last night and it was easier to smooth and keep my hair untangled. For some reason the middle of my head was a challenge so I incorporated your second method into my routine and the results were much better. I was saying to myself "twist, pick up some hair" in your cute little Briitish accent. ;-). Thanks again, you have made my life so much easier.

  • @MickieJay
    @MickieJay 12 лет назад

    Thanks so much! When you see two different methods and don't realize it, you get confused a little as to what you are actually doing with the hair. This is a really good tutorial, very helpful and again especially in differentiating the two methods! :)

    I am so glad I came across this video, you are so right about flat twist and cornrow. I can do some wicked style on my little girl but I can not do my own hair. Practice, practice, practice, I cant wait until my hair is the same length as yours, just starting to transition and looking for different style. I love your accent, you sound so posh, I am from the midlands x
