It's the same in US, kind of. The majority of the US doesnt know that these are two different methods unless your in food service or a personal cook, so it was generally shortened to just 'frying'.
@@ilovetweek000 It doesn't really matter though because they have the same definition molten would usually be used for glass and stuff and melted would be used for food but at the end of the day they both mean to liquefy by heat

For those who commonly mistake the person behind these voices, the person narrating this particular video is Claire. Now, in general Tasty 101 videos are voiced by Alexis and Claire. They don't introduce themselves in the beginning, but sometimes you might see a short clip of them in the video. You just gotta know the difference between their voices to know whether it's Claire or Alexis voicing that particular 101 video.
This is yet another voice over Tasty vid that when it's over once again I'm asking "who are these people, who are these women who always make me smile?" C'mon....admit it, fess up, you want to meet them as much as I do! Nicely done.
I save my extra grease/oil and put it on my dogs food every so often. It is a special treat for her and the vet said it will help with her dry skin, and her coat looks amazing.
I love her voice. It has such an ASMR feeling.... Her voice is half the reason I see Tasty 101. I loved their tips and recipes too!!! Thank you tasty!!! :)
Them: Make sure you get this 100% crispy and tenderized Me: Argh, To lazy. Ima just eat sum jalapeño chips with some garlic cream cheese with the side of a fresh cold milk.
I've tried to fry purple sweet potato the way you fry potatp and it was really delicious!! Tender and soft inside, crunchy and crispy outside and not too oily. Thank you Tasty team for share this tips 😁
You shouldn't salt the french fries after the first fry, because when you put them back into the oil, it all dissolves. This isn't a big deal when you're cooking at home because you'll more than likely throw out the oil anyway, but if you're doing this in bulk -- such as in a restaurant -- that salt that gets into your hot frier will degrade the oil more quickly, meaning you'll have to swap it out earlier. Salt should never get in your fryers if you can help it.
My grandmother wasn't much of a cook--she usually served my sister and I instant oatmeal and frozen dinners--but she did make a wonderful fried eggplant!
I recommend avocado oil cause it can tolerate high temperatures(up to 500 degrees F) and gives food a mild flavor that enhances other flavors you add in.
Thank you for demystifying frying (I think I have the beginnings of a rhyme!). I always thought that it would be a major pain to deep fry. You make it look totally doable!
Welcome to the Now Its not the buttermilk,it's the hot pepper and the paprika.I allways put a small amt. of paprika in the flour it makes the skin brown better but don't put to much or you can't tell if the chicken is done, and do put salt and pepper in the buttermilk and flour.
I lived in the UK for more than ten years and we always made our chips at home. They were so delicious and when I want fries now I still make them at home. :-)
As a former manager at TGI Fridays I can attest to the fry method for French fries . We slammed our potatoes and put them in 55 gal sanitized trash cans in a ice bath overnight in the walk in . Next day air dried and double fried like stated here although our initial fry temp was 275 degrees - absolutely delicious Now they use frozen fries if I'm not mistaken
It's a late reply. I recommend you learn a few basic step to use Adobe Premiere or Adobe After Effect. The trick in the video is called Mask or Masking
I use the dredge technique to fry chicken tenders, Calamari, and drumsticks. It works extremely well. I get best results when I use peanut oil at 350 degrees F. The Progresso and Emril brands of seasoned breading work very well 😊.
Just tried the fried Zucchini and it was hella good! Quick tip: add at least twice the amount of water to the batter if you want it to be as thin as it is in the video.
LoLa LoLa it all was. I gave up interest after watching her dumb arse cut the chips let alone cook them wrongly. But then people only seem bothered about the chicken.
In the UK, this is called deep frying. 'Frying' just means cooking something in a frying pan with a little bit of oil (no submerging).
What? I thought it was the same in the USA! (I live in the US)
Well I think it’s the same in the US I mean at least ik it as deep frying. They’re probably to lazy to say deep fry lol.
It's the same in US, kind of. The majority of the US doesnt know that these are two different methods unless your in food service or a personal cook, so it was generally shortened to just 'frying'.
Same Canada too
I'm in the U.S., and I'd say this was deep frying. I use the term 'pan frying' for frying in a pan with a little bit of oil. Avoids confusion.
Her voice is so soothing!

I know right, deep vocal fry is soooooo soothing

HFR83 ain't nothing low key about it
It's hard to say why
The oil was already used and abused before the chicken so it didn’t come out golden and nice looking
HFR83 fries highkey were burnt
HFR83 burnt, dry and tough

My favorite thing to eat in the summer is fried zucchini! We slice it really thing and just put it in some flour. they're amazing.
Why is the chicken so dark? I think the buttermilk gave it a reaction because mine never come out dark, and I don’t use egg. Good video!!

Because it was cooked too long dumb arse. The woman can't cook.
Maybe because she used a used oil or the spices she put on the flour.
21whichiswhich the spices would have no effect whatsoever on the chicken being burned. The oil that was used was pretty clean too.

The amount of dip you got on that fry isn’t enough to satisfy anyone
looks burnt :(
Arnold Pablico I came to the comments to see if anyone else thought this. I thought the picture was showing what NOT to do. 😆
Yeah. It's not golden brown. It's very close to dark brown already
Arnold Pablico its because of the paprika and cayenne... It gives food a dark color... But it was cooked perfectly
There was nowhere near enough seasoning to change the colour that much... It was in the oil too long.
Agree
Looks scrumptious!
This is such a great series!

I've been enjoying deep fried Brussels Sprouts lately... Really good with lemon zest and black pepper...
Putting salt after the first time you fried the fries is a mistake IMO
El Maxoh absolutely correct. Why waste salt on blanched chips when it will be washed off when they go back in the fryer for and time. To be cremated.
Yes it drew out too much moisture making it easier for the fries to burn.
I git burnt very close to my eyes because salt fell into the hot oil!
So Yea big mistake
