Well young man, you saved me a couple of thousand dollars. Bought a 2000 dodge short bed as a hobby truck in extraordinary condition. owner was swamped with "hits" but no one would touch it because the trans was "trash" due to the first to second lift foot problem. Has just over 100K on it. Anyway made no sense because 46/47 REs are good boxes. Ran across your demonstrated brilliance. Made the 15 minute adjust, now works flawlessly. Would adopt you but (I'm 90) the wife said no sigh..anyway heart felt thanks.
@@FlippinCustomized yes sir thanx, I came across ur vid causw I was lookin for a solution to my boggin at times I stepped it on and it makes like farting sounds and it boggs and I got new battery terminals and new timbo app sensor ..what else do you think it can be?
Hey brother thank you so much. I have an 05 SRT-10 with the 48RE. This solve my issue. I replaced the speed sensor thinking that was the issue. Subscribed 👍
I have a 1995 Dodge ram 2500 with a V10 gas engine doing the same thing anything is the same as the diesel that I'm checking for thank you for your time
Hello I change my transmission and my Honda civic 98 does hold on 1 gear and won’t change two second gear . I got to put on low and let it rip and then put it on drive and it works please respond to me
How much of a difference is the linkage for the TV cable on a 47rh vs 47re. I got the 47rh and needing know how the cable is routed so my truck can shift. the under side looks the same but want to make sure. Every thing is manual shift using a cable like in the video.
I’m working on truck now have put 2 rebuilt transmissions in first one got had barely reverse second one seemed to work great now the customer says sometimes you start it up and the truck won’t even move sometimes no issues. I have no idea what’s going on. All I know these transmissions suck.
My trucks doing the same thing after its first shift from first to second it shifts fine after until I shut the truck and restart it it repeats the cycle this could be shutting it off for a minute and then restarting it
@@FlippinCustomized thanks, your video was helpful. I am having a late 1-2 shift around 2300rpm. I looked at my cable and it was already pretty loose. So I looked at the transmission end and the little lever was getting stuck. Sprayed some WD-40 and seems to be better

Good video.
Apparently some of the models have a release on the cable that you do push.
Good to know thanks
You are an absolute beauty brother thank you so much
Glad it worked
hi, what about if my bracket or valve by the spring u mention is hard to move? ? whats next and what is it called?
Could have a bad cable by the sound of it
I have a 1995 Dodge ram 2500 with a V10 gas engine doing the same thing anything is the same as the diesel that I'm checking for thank you for your time
If it’s the same transmission it should work
Did you ever do the band adjustment? If so, could you post the link? TIA
We did it’s on our channel
TV Cable
Transmission Valve Cable
So my 97 1500 with a 5.9L does this same issue but it’s in second gear going into third.. i back off and get back onto the throttle and it’s fine.
Not sure if that’s the same set up

Sorry not familiar with that one

Honestly not positive

They do suck, but sounds like you may have a clogged filter, bad pump or worn band
@ man that be a bummer it’s a freshly rebuilt and just put it in last week.
If the spring is broken ! Will that cause it not to shift ? And slip out ?
Spring on the cable?

Sounds more electrical
Does this need to be done with someone pushing the pedal down all the way?
No you should not need to

Does a gas 5.9 magnum have the same cable ?
I believe so but not positive
I thought this was a Tom Segura skit for a second.
Nope it’s me 😂
Thanx
Very welcome
