    What type of ND filter do you think is the best? Standard, Polarized, or Gradient? Comment below and let me know which ones you use.

    Jeff I don’t have a drone but this is the best review for a product that I’ve seen in a long time. Love how you made it educational and used the filters in the field! I loved the polar pro look!

    Each one has there own use I think you need the NDP/L and the Gradient lens in 4, 8,16 ,32, 64, and a 1000 to play with. Thanks for the great video

    So I bought the gradient PolarPro’s. All other models have 3 etched markings. The one for the Mavic 2 Pro I received has only 1 thin one. According to PolarPro the marking should be at 12 o’clock. But I’m finding just the opposite. It seems to me the darker on top and lighter at the bottom is somewhat closer to 6. What did you find with yours ?

    I’m still trying to decide which ones I wanna use? I just purchased the Freewell gradient filters from Amazon and I am going to fly with them asap and see if they’re what I will need to have in my case for my M2P. I also have the Vivid collection from PolarPro which consists of the 8, 16, & 32 filters. Thinking about getting the polarized ND filters from either Freewell or PolarPro and at this point it’s a matter of price for me. Great tutorial and keep up the good work!! Thanks.

      Thanks Phil, let me know which ones you decide on. How do you like the vivid collection?

      Jeff Greene Ironically, I won the PolarPro Vivid Collection series for my M2P in a contest I entered about a month ago!! First time I have ever won anything in my life. I have have been using PolarPro filters for quite some time now on my Inspire 2 and I really like the quality of filters they sell. I really don’t know about the Freewell filters yet because I haven’t received them from Amazon but after they arrive I intend on putting them on my M2P and going flying (weather permitting) and after I give them a test or two I will let you know what I think. What’s your opinion on the both of them? Do you have a preference as which one is better than the other?

      Hello, my neighbor! This is my first purchase of gradient filters. I have been very pleased with the results so far. Just need all of this rain to clear out so i can get some flight time before Fall is over :)

    Here is the difference between 2 brands.
    Polarpro is an ADVERTISING company not filter they know how to advertise wrap things good & inflate the price.
    Freewell is reasonable prices product & has better optical glass then polarpro anyday they have to improve on packing & spend on advertise more which in turn consumer will pay.
    Why I say this because I have visited China where I had opportunity to visit both the factories of these companies if you want to purchase polarpro go with skyreat they are half the price of polarpro they are made in the same factory of polarpro SIDE BY SIDE .

    • @JeffGreeneChannel
      @JeffGreeneChannel  5 лет назад

      Very interesting Chloe, i will look into skyreat as well. I agree, both Polarpro and Freewell are good comanies that i have bought from many times in the past. Both have worked well for me.

    Great video. Polar pro are fantastic for all drones I feel. On the other hand freewell are rubbish. I would avoid them at all costs. They fall to bits. Polar pro all the way! Great video!

      Very nice user name:) Polar Pro are certainly high end filters, though i have also had good results on the freewell filters on both the Mavic Air and Mavic 2 Pro. No issues with either brand falling apart for me. I did have a DJI ND filter that actually did fall to bits after a couple flights on the original mavic pro.

    hi jeff are u using filters during golden hour?

    • @JeffGreeneChannel
      @JeffGreeneChannel  5 лет назад +1

      Oh yeah, definitely. Most of the time i am using an ND16 since the filter is not too dark. Once the shadows get darker i switch to no filter instead of Nd8, especially with an adjustable aperture on the mavic 2 pro.

    Hi Jeff, well I received the Freewell gradient filters today and I am a little disappointed that they don’t have the laser etched horizon marks on any of them as was clearly advertised in the description when I purchased them on Amazon. I realize that this is a small thing but it’s the principle of the deal that bothers me. I contacted Amazon just now and they sent me a return shipping label but at this point I don’t know if I am going to send them back for a refund. If I were to get the refund then I’ll still have to get them from either PolarPro or try to see if Freewell would send me the correct ones. Haven’t made up my mind yet.
    I mean I can set up the horizon on the filter before I take off my M2P and probably be okay but as I just said it’s the principle of it that irritates me.

    • @JeffGreeneChannel
      @JeffGreeneChannel  5 лет назад +1

      Thats a bummer. I wish i could have compared gradient filters of both freewell and polarpro. The polar pro definitely do have the markings which are helpful, as you stated.

    • @phildevore4543
      @phildevore4543 5 лет назад

      Jeff Greene That’s exactly why I am thinking about returning them and buying the PolarPro gradient filters. The PolarPro’s are about $30 more but I really would like to have those laser etched marks on them for reference.

    • @chloejohnson9225
      @chloejohnson9225 5 лет назад

      Explain me why that line is so important I feel even without that white like you can always set your horizon before you fly i will be fool to spend 30 buck more just for that line lol , Yes you are right if they mention it should have the same but that doesn't make allow me to spend USD 30 more on that.
