Running from big George is nothing to be ashamed of, he eats huge hits like they where his delicious grilled burgers 🍔
Tommy was using tactics, Moving away forced the heavier older George to pursue,winding him farther! This is exactly How Ali beat him in the "Rumble in the jungle" Ali stayed on the ropes most of the fight. Sure he had to take some hard shots by doing so but when George was punched our Ali still had enough in the Tank to beat him!

Great strategy by Morrison here, slugs with him in small doses then keeps his distance when the pressure builds. Foreman's chin is insane, it's like punching a tree

What a nightmare to hit a man that hard, and just have him keep coming forward.
and as far as Tommy turning his back on him, and even jogging away from him, to me that was just a strategy to tire the older fighter.
Tommy's strategy was to get a few punches in and get out. Followed the strategy to a t. A little too much.
Although it was a lopsided decision, I scored it closer than the judges. Many even rounds as Morrison run away from Foreman a lot during the fight...
I just couldn't give a guy a round when he turns his back or runs so blatantly. Maybe I'd score them 10-10 rounds but man, that would really rankle me if I were judging.
Foreman had one of the best jabs in the history of professional boxing. He could take a punch too. A true legend!
