Thor’s biggest mistake here was thinking that darkness was his ally. He merely adopted it. Gorr was born in it, moulded by it.
He is the DARK KNIGHT HIDEING IN THE SCADOWS...literally
Please stop references
bruh thats just voldemort with a nose
Heheh 🤫 sssshhhhh
He didn't see the light until he was already a man
The colours are amazing here. Gorr being one with the darkness and Thor, Jane and Valkyrie being the light with their weapons with deep blue and bright yellow. Amazing overall.
If thor was more serious like this the whole film and if there was no korg or goats and more depth then this film woulda been class cuz the action is unreal
Now, while i get too much comedy can affect a movie's reputation, i think the goats were a great addition. It's just something about the constant battle cries, and even sudden ramming into a giga sized shadow monster. Their unpredictableness is what i think stayed at a good level in terms of comedy, and i can't complain when i giggle like a dumbass 😂
@@sirbrokenlegs2074very well said.
This movie needed a whole make-over. Top to bottom and sideways, even the action.
Korg wasn’t horrible. He did need working tho I agree
@@sirbrokenlegs2074 you have the IQ of a pavement
What this movie needed to be one of the best in the MCU:
1. More serious tone, less comedy
2. Showing Gorr killing multiple gods to establish how powerful he really is (or even having him attack Omnipotence City and fighting multiple gods at once)
3. Having Gorr actually kill Valkyrie to raise the stakes and make the final battle between Gorr and Thor a bit more personal
4. Getting rid of that silly scene with the kids in the final battle and replacing it with a truly epic one that’s only between Thor, Jane, and Gorr.
5. Having the attacks and punches be more impactful, these are GODS…
6. I thought Bale’s look in this movie was fine, but I would’ve preferred the more alien-like appearance from the comics with the black cloak
7. Actually having the Necrosword be THE Necrosword instead of it just being a regular sword
8. I would’ve included Korg just for a bit of comedy in the beginning, but he should’ve either stayed behind in New Asgard or been killed early on. Having him around for the entire movie only made him more annoying.
For Number 4, I would've had the Guardians Of The Galaxy in the final battle as well.
Thor was hated when he was serious. How stupid are you
What’s weird is that Taika removed the tendrils from Gorr to avoid looking like Voldemort, yet here, Gorr in the final movie IS Voldemort lol
I really love the color scheme in this scene
A planet entirely dark and colorless and our main heroes give off the only semblance of light
1:49 that hit was awesome
This fight scene was amazing!!!
i know right
One of the best in the MCU imo. It actually felt like two Gods fighting.
I disagree. Merely the best in the movie, but could've been much more.
The necrosword vs. stormbreaker
Props to the cameraman for recording this amazing footage
Best scene in the entire movie by a mile
I have to say, despite the movie being bad overall, this scene was freakin DOPE!
The WHOLE movie should've been shot like this. And that feel of dread. I felt the same for Ragnarok, it should've looked like the Valkyrie flashback scene.
That Valkyrie flashback scene was certainly something else.
This thing was absolutely amazing. The first time I saw it, I was blown away. I understand a lot of the jokes in a land for a lot of people definitely for me either but some of the visuals in this movie were mine blowing and beautiful and for that alone, I have to get this movie is seven out of 10.
I watch this scene and think "huh, maybe I was too harsh on the movie", but then watch it again and think "nah, it's still messy" Shame, because the movie did have potential.
messy? its terrible
@@cunningflopnot when you focus on things other than the overused humour
I’ll give it to this scene for trying to salvage a bad movie
😑
The most creative fight sequence in the MCU could ever make
The way Jane obliterated that giant creature by reforming the miljnor inside of it was awesome.
if this movie was serious..it would ve been one of the best mcu movies..but shame on you taika waititi
He was continuing the ragnorok style 🤣
If the movie matched the tone of this fight scene and the opening scene then it would’ve been killer. I really enjoyed this fight allot with the environment and the black and white.
in restrospect, this scene does look awesome, bale was amazing as usual
Come to think about it, this movie is so much better than the flash and blue beetle combined.
I agree
Despite being hated, I like this movie. But it would be better that Gorr killed Valkyrie so that it would it would be more serious. And I hope they'll do Thor 5. And that Chris Hemsworth will do it and again in the Kang Dynasty one last time. I don't want him to leave.
People hated when Thor was serious. Even Hemsworth thought he had very little humour
@@phoebetonkin8020 you mean goofy right?
@@danielvargas9231 no I mean serious. If he stayed serious, we wouldn’t have Love and Thunder
and thats why I love that movie so much... epic
I would’ve been more than okay with it if Valkyrie just died right here
exactly bruh
Fr, it would've raised the stakes more.
By far one of the only redeeming parts of the movie.
This should’ve been the tone of this movie. A mostly serious tone, but with a bit of quirky humor, like Thor’s “you want my weapon come and get it” gesture
Here is the number of times when Taika Waititi did something with Thor that didn't ruin the character or his lore:
The visuals in this scene are amazing, too bad this movie was stuffed with too many bad jokes.
that hammer should have been a little bit closer to hit that shadow monster on 2:00
this fight sequence was very good despite the movie being terrible
If more scenes were serious and shot like this and the last fight, this had potential to be the best marvel movie
No it’d still be shit. Remember The Dark World
He really should have hit storm breaker with the whole of you're not worthy you can't lift me spell
i dont understand why Thor after he left in the bifrost just didnt summon stormbreaker once they got back to earth?
Becuz gorr was holding on to it. Duh
@@AlexLopez-qj1or ya and? soon as Thor opened his hand to summon it, SB should have ripped right out of his had to return to Thor.
@@motaz1975 nope it don't work that way it's like the hammer you saw thanos caught stormbreaker held it unto Thor chest to slice throuh him right. Anyone can wield storm breaker I think
@@wayupsoftly wielding it if they have the strength is one thing, but i still think the moment Thor opens his hand, it should fly right out of the hand of whoever is holding it.
Bluetooth connection isn't strong enough
honestly, i think Thor was fighting better when he fought Hela
Hela was a more personal fight
@@isaiahwatkins1502 gotcha. There was also so much more lightning in Ragnorok I don't know if it means thor has better control over his power or if he can focus it to more specific things like strength.
YES!!!!!!!!!! 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
This scene carried
This 3 are playing live action Limbo
I will never forgive marvel for what they did to gorr.
Gorr just took Thor’s hambreaker
With the setting's unique lighting and geography, this could've been a very interesting fight sequence.
But alas, it's only the usual sorts of clash with the villain and occasionally cutting into smashing uninspired CGI monsters.
It completed its task, but it could've been more innovative.
Fun fact children actually drew the monsters
As flawed this movie may be, Gorr and the Shadow Realm are by far the coolest shit to come from this movie!
Hey Jimbo, let’s get a bite at the Chick-fil-A down the street here.
Did Gorr move that star? why was it moving all around for no apparent reason? (note that it wasn't going apeshit before Gorr plunged the sword into the ground).
So maybe let's all go back to pretending I don't exist??? ;)
Toei Company says that Evil Space Ruler Shimazu Toyohisa uses Toei's equivalent to Marvel's Necrosword to summon Giant Yokai Kaijus to fight against 80s Toei Anime Heroes.
When I first watched this, I expected Thor to make an entrance like he did in Wakanda in Infinity War. Then have Gorr have equally powerful feats. I'm disappointed.😭😭😭😭
Now if only the rest of the movie was like this...
I totally missed it at first but at 1:54 thor threw storm breaker at that big creature in front of him completely decapitating it and then called it back real quick to continue fighting gor shit is crazy I really missed it cause i didn't know what had happened at first
Thor story line
Why does thor feel so weak in this movie
cuz he was lol they nerfed him same with gorr
Thanks to the director
Its not that he was weak. It's because gorr was strong
Do you really not know how powerful gorr is? Not even a team up of 3 thors were enough to take him down. And of those is a future all father Thor
because he is a straight white male
I wonder where's Yami Yugi oh.... I m an they are in the shadow realm right?
Does this make Yu-Gi-Oh! Canon to Marvel now? 🤔
If only Odin was there to place the enchantment on the axe...
This is literally the best part of thhe movie. The rest of the movie is mediocre
I thought the scene where Thor broke the cursed sword is cool too
Agreed, too bad the fight ends so soon. And what the heck are they thinking making Gorr stealing Aesir children
This is one of the only parts that’s good in the movie
Its unfortunate that one of the best fights in the entire mcu is in such an underwhelming movie...
Okay forgive me for asking but doesn't stormbreaker work the same way as mjolnir? You know like you can't lift it or move it unless you're worthy?
I think it's because after forging Stormbreaker, Thor had to rush into battle before the "Worthy" spell could be imprinted onto it.
No stormbreaker isn’t enchanted like the hammer was so that’s why numerous people with great strength could lift it or use it
@@johnnyz333 the spell is imprinted on the hammer after it's forged? I didn't know that.
@@rogueguardian it wasn’t. If you watch the first Thor movie, Odin enchanted the hammer when he banished Thor. That’s the only reason the worthiness enchantment was on it. Stormbreaker never received that enchant from Odin or anyone else
@@henokhagos8245 couldn’t Thor enchant it?
This movie had so much potential to introduce Beta Ray Bill
So disappointing
The primary purpose of this film was to introduce the Mighty Thor. Perhaps the fifth film will feature Beta Ray Bill?
Outer space has lightning?
Молния выйдет от самого Тора
Он умеет управлять молнию без молота после Рагнарека
Thor should have been more powerful
Why? He seems powerful enough. Gorr is the one who should be more powerful
@@DeadBattleEditzBoth should
So you want a boring op character that can win any battle?
@@mox9076 You'd better improve your interpretation because that's not what he wrote
I feel like this villain had a ton of potential to be really cool but this movie was just so bad
This is an incredible scene in an otherwise mediocre movie
This film was biggest pile of shit I have seen in a long time. So much potential, completely wasted by a bad script and dodgy dialogue ;(
This was the only good part of this movie
factual
🤮🤮🤮
