Thor again could not defeat the villain alone, again someone saved him. In recent films, he only suffers defeats, in Avengers: Endgame he was easily defeated by Thanos, without giving him a single chance. Here, too, he was defeated in hand-to-hand combat, he could not oppose something to Gorr

Are you only now discovering super hero movies ? There are really so few of them where the protagonist can defeat the bad guy on its own I could count them on my hands. It is vital on a narrative stand point that the hero can't just do everything on its own otherwise there is no tension AND being able to rely on other people is usually what sets the hero appart from his opponents.

I know a lot of people didn't particularly care for this one, and that's fine.
It's definitely the most "Disney" of the Thor movies, but from a family-fun perspective it's still a nice ride. I had a couple of hype moments; it DEFINITELY could've been done better with Gorr's slaughter being expanded upon and the kids not being in the movie at all... but then it wouldn't be a Disney film... which is objectively better and what we want, of course, but unfortunately it IS a Disney film.
Just pray Deadpool gets to do his own thing.

-Hela, Thor and Odin are all Asgardians of the same lineage. The all receive their power from the same source. Heck, Odin crafted the darn thing.
-Jane Foster wields Mjolnir because she's dying and Thor had altered the enchantment on Mjolnir to protect her.
-Vision was born from Thor's lightning.
-C'mon, Captain America catching that hammer was cool. He's the only person other than Jane Foster that would've really been tested by the hammer's enchantment, and as the leader/heart of the Avengers it would makes sense that he's just worthy.
