Synopsis: "Thor: Love and Thunder" finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced -- a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who -- to Thor's surprise -- inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. I watched it for the first time this past Friday. I did like it…but I also had some problems with it. I feel like this had the potential to be funny but also legit serious - even dark. Unfortunately, Taika Waititi cut a lot of scenes from the final product, and he doesn’t want to do an extended cut at all! However, I think it might be wise to have a version, which incorporates some of those scenes back into the film - not all of them, but some of them.
Theres alot of serious scenes in this movie.
@@mutalemwananshiku4098 there are! I don’t mean to say there aren’t any! Just felt like the genuine, serious scenes were overwhelmed by over-the-top goofy scenes, which on the one hand isn’t surprising as it is meant to be a comedic movie, and comedy is Taika’s style, but on the other hand the story seems to me, personally, to be the type that can be comedic but also needs to have a serious undertone that doesn’t always get interrupted by a joke. Then again, maybe you’re right, and the serious and comedic scenes are perfectly balanced.
@@jackwimmer2249 there are scenes that are serious with no jokes like the opening with gorr and his daughter , jane and thor on the bridge and the hospital, the whole fight against gorr in the temple. As well as when they arrive at the shadow realm.

This film made me dislike the Korg voice which makes me sad
The CGI just looks kinda..meh.. Its crazy that with more technological advances, and a 250 million dollar budget, these movies all kinda look average and the same in CGI
thor has one of the best & the worst movies in whole of marvel universe.. worst ever movies being dark world & luv n thunder.. and ragnarok being one of the best mov produced by marvel
its a tragedy the director who created ragnarok & jojo rabbit created a disaster like this..

Don't worry, Marvel just dropped Secret Invasion and Werewolf by night trailers and especially WBN LOOKS SO GOOD.
This movie isnt that bad and we are getting Wakanda Forver and we got NWH, shang-chi and eternals whicb are solid films.
