What If Curly Joe Was In The Final Three Stooges Short?

The last ten minutes or so of the Three Stooges feature "Have Rocket, Will Travel" (1959) plays just like one of their old short comedies.
What if it was? What if Curly Joe's debut had been in their final short subject instead of in a feature film?

Curly Joe didn't like be slapped or to much physical content, he was one of the only stooges that appreciate being a stooge

I heard that Joe Besser is the one who didn't like to be slapped or getting pie on his face but as for Curly Joe so he joined with the stooges in the 60s and the stooges in this decade which is the last one became more like a family content so they lowed the violence unlike how it used between the mid 30s to mid 50s.

I agree that it was Joe Besser,1956-58. He did no like the slaps or pie in the face. He was gone after 2 years. Joe DeRita aka Curly Joe came in and was a much better fit. He was more like Curly Howard.

It's because their shorts we're moved to TV by then and parents we're upset with their kids watching it, and also for a smaller reason their age at the time

i think it had more to do with their age than anything. They were already pushing 70 by this time and could no longer do the slap stick

Yeah, I think it was primarily their age. At this stage, when they were all obviously elderly, it wasn’t as funny to watch them hit each other. You hold your breath rather than laugh in case somebody broke a hip.
