Just a question..
Do you watch stooges to escape the turmoil of this life, just as I do?
I also watch the stooges cartoons.. I let it play and listen to them talk

Joe seemed to be a nice guy and didn't seem to hate being a Stooge like I've read so many comments about. As a matter of fact he seems proud of working with Moe and Larry.

@@michaelhungate7506 Joe Besser also clearly enjoyed working with Moe and Larry, you can see how happy he was in interviews when he discussed those days. I think both of them got treated a bit unfairly by fans over the years, there was no way they could have filled the shoes of Curly or Shemp, but they did well in their own ways.

@dariosmagata8481 I totally agree and the movies they made in the 60s with Derita were very popular so that was a sort of approval from the audience I guess.
