The night my father passed at hospice in Hilo, Hawaii, he was unable to speak, but was quite awake and aware. I had the inclination to fire up the TV and find something funny to watch. The Three Stooges came to mind. We watched and laughed for over an hour, giggling and checking in with each other. I can’t imagine a better way to send him off.

No other team got the personal love and attention like they got in the late 50's , and 60's and that was after their mega popularity in the 30;s and 40's. I would say around 1950-1957 they took a dip as Curly was dead and some of their comedy's were getting old as they were but the people wanted them big time during the years I said and they made a ton of appearances and made their better fortune during the time the interview was done here to their deaths. It's interesting how Moe says "let's not call it violence." Even back in the 30s what they did was not "violence" as you'd see in an action movie of the time. But, it's even more interesting that at that time they were cutting it from the act. There's a clip here on RUclips of Moe on the Mike Douglas Show in the 70s where he states that kids are smart enough to know it's not real. Thanks for sharing this. I couldn’t believe it! I’d never heard any of them speak outside of their ‘short subjects’I know Moe once did a Mike Douglas Show when he had gone grey. I remembered this appearance back then but I never thought I’d see it again! Thank you so much!

May e Lord comfort you in this. For me, I felt sad that such fine and talented people who made so many around e 🌎 laugh are no longer around. They were so kind and sincere folks, as can be seen in this extremely rare video footage. Looking at them also made me want to cry, such nice and warm people.
