Joe DeRita came across to me as blah, blah, blah. He, like Joe Bessemer, were about as funny as concrete. To me, it just showed some acts went on too long. @@8kigana
@@8kigana He had to fill the shoes of two comedy legends. No matter how hard he tried or didn't try he was never going to be Curly or Shemp. At least he cared enough to try.
They clearly meant "Uncle Curly"
Absolutely Wonderful !! Thank you for sharing the footage! R.I.P. ❤
LOVE THIS!!! Especially Moe personally describing when he broke his ribs.
Wow! I love seeing how the Stooges are off-screen. Them and their respective families seem like really down to earth people. There's a lot more to them than just their movies and shorts.
This was great getting a glimpse of their personal life.
This is great. Really awesome. It’s so nice to see all three of them together and Curly Joe always reminded me of curly a little bit. Larry had so much talent in making the abuse. He was taking a look real. He’s really underrated.
Loved watching them on weekend afternoons as a kid,
I remember reading that Billy West, the guy who voiced the character Stimpy from Ren and Stimpy, fashioned Stimpy’s voice after Larry Fine’s. You can really hear it, too.
Billy West would do an impression of Larry Fine, it was one of the things that made Howard Stern want him on his show. As Howard said, who does a Larry Fine impersonation???
❤ love all 3 of them in my family we are still watching them almost every other day they make us feel happy
Priceless interview. What a gem. Thanks for sharing it.
I love this! My father loved the Three Stooges; and I do aswell. Indeed, this interview is beautiful! I felt like crying, because it made me think of my father. I'm 57. I remember when the both of us watched the Three Stooges, when I was just a small boy. Oh, how they made the world laugh!

God bless you and your father. Great memories will never fade, you and your father will reunite again in the future!
@@johnrawlings2161 Thank you, so much Mr. Rawlings. Your reply touched me so much. Of course, I don't know you. But, you are in my prayers. I wish you well. I pray that you have a happy 2024. Stay safe!

Dear Brother Paul Wright, Many thanks for so kindly sharing your thoughts on E Three Stooges and also e sadness it brings when you remember watching them on TV with your dad. May e Lord comfort you in this. For me, I felt sad that such fine and talented people who made so many around e 🌎 laugh are no longer around. They were so kind and sincere folks, as can be seen in this extremely rare video footage. Looking at them also made me want to cry, such nice and warm people. I am so glad that you have fond memories of watching them on TV with your dad. I do hope that you would reunite with him one day and then perhaps reminisce about E Three Stooges series, ie in heaven. I, too, lost my dad two years back. Be happy and take good care, please. May e Lord Jesus Christ bless you! From Singapore 😊🇸🇬.
@@limkwaimeng6091 Dear kind one. Thank you, so much for the wonderful reply! I wish you well in Singapore! Your reply touched me so much! I pray that you too will get to meet with your loved ones in Heaven. I am sorry, it took me a long time to respond
I have not been feeling well lately. I have Diabetes. I pray that our LORD will be with you; and guide you. Through Jesus Christ our LORD. AMEN.

I remember you guys mentioning this about Moe wanting drama parts. This was a great interview...
Man I would do anything to meet the Stooges. They really got me into comedy. Thank you for sharing your family’s legacy ❤️
Love this interview. So cool to see the families of the stooges and them outside of the movies. I’ve been a fan of the stooges since I was very young. I’m 49 now so over forty years. Thank you Curly’s grandson for sharing.
There is a great long interview somewhere on YT with Moe Howard on the Merv Griffin show from the 70's. He gives all the detail history of the stooges. As you can see here he is a very well spoken man.
Thank you for sharing this..loved the Stooges growing up in the 70s ..they are timeless treasures..RIP fellas, thanks for the many laughs thru the decades
Moe and Larry still look great despite being in their late 60s. They and Curly Joe would later appear with future The Price Is Right host/executive producer Bob Barker on Truth or Consequences in late 1969
And Moe smoked 2 packs a day
At the risk of sounding insensitive, Moe Howard being the head of the “Spastic Children’s Guild” is priceless.
😂🤣
😹
lmao
LOL!!
Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck!
loved the 3 stooges. I can't believe when people protested that they were too violent. No kid I knew ever did some of the things they did
My cousin tried to scissor his sisters nose off watching The Stooges.😮
Was he just a bit deranged to begin with?@@tomjones5650

hahahahah😂😂
We did stuff, especially poking each other in the eyes, my mom tried to keep us from watching The Boys but she couldn't. I'm 63 and still love watching them, but only ones with Curly and Shemp. Shemp is underrated and great!
Great video, I felt like the interviewer was trying to get them to act out as the stooges characters rather then take them serious. I really appreciate that they realized the influence that TV was having on children and adjusted their act. Thanks for posting this.
I love this. Been a fan since a kid. Watched them on tv all the time.
Ah, the good all days. I was born and grew up in a foreign country and these guys used to make me laugh no matter how many times I watched their movies.
This is incredible!!!
As a lifelong Stooges fan and memorabilia collector, this is amazing. Thanks for posting it.
Plummer park is in West Hollywood. I've been there several times.
Imagine being there and running into these icons... amazing!
I've been a fan of the three stooges for over 20 years. It's incredible to see these never-before-seen videos.
I started watching the stooge shorts in the 70's and there still on and I still watch them. Incredible. Cool interview.
my grandfather was a photographer and took many pictures with famous people including the three stooges (Moe Larry and Curly Joe) and he was in a picture with them and we have it in our house!
I am so jealous of anyone that met the Stooges! I would LOVE to see this picture!
Great opportunity to hear from these family members.
Thanks for sharing the video, such a gem . Thanks again Brad.👍😢
I love these great comics I'm 71 and they still make me laugh
My kids love them today. My kids today watch Tom and Jerry and other old cartoons. They aren't violent. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for. It's our job as parents to teach.
This is comedy GOLD! Spent my child-hood watching the 3 Stooges. They still bring warmth to my heart 55+ yrs later.
What a wholesome time. Thank you for sharing your family videos, I appreciate you.
Amazing! Thank you for posting this video.
I saw this when it was broadcast! That’s Jack Linkletter, son of Art Linkletter, cohosted by Helen O’Connell. The show was “Here’s Hollywood” on NBC weekdays at 4:30 est from ‘60-‘62. I remembered the stooges being interviewed in a zoo!
I couldn’t believe it! I’d never heard any of them speak outside of their ‘short subjects’I know Moe once did a Mike Douglas Show when he had gone grey. I remembered this appearance back then but I never thought I’d see it again! Thank you so much!
So glad this popped up in my feed. I'm 45 & grew up loving the Stooges. Have never even thought to search for an interview like this. Never seen them out of character before Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for sharing that Curly G.
Perfect, I'm old Man today, watched all their Shows from Day one and never once smacked anyone with a Hammer or twist a Nose off.
But, did certainly enjoy each routine (fav's are Larry cleaning the Pants stain and Moe's Tools/Nail goes in that wall) and still watch today.
Curly Joe doesn't look like he wants to be there.
That's okay. I don't want him to be there either.
Always love these guys...thank you for this .
Mo is very intelligent and a down to earth guy, watching the Three Stooges you would think these guys are a bit weird but in real life they are completely different......
I did some minor electronic dirt and scratch removal on some early Three Stooges, it was in terrible condition after a lot of work with it it was in very bad condition. I was impressed how funny it was without audio
These clips are great! I love seeing these. Thank you
Great great interview! The Stooges live forever.
I know I keep bringing this
up a lot but for me being an
Afro-Brazilian raised the
United States for 29 years
and having grown up with all walks of life since early childhood..
people from The Sandlot,
The Little Rascals and
The Three Stooges are
the ideal people that
I would have wanted to have as my best friends as well as my brothers and sisters.
