      The sign says “you are now entering *Harambe* wildlife reserve”. You know. Harambe. That gorilla that got shot after tossing a child around in its exhibit. The comment you responded to was from 2016, so that’s probably what they’re referencing. They’re sad because the sign reminded them of Harambe the gorilla, who got shot that very year.

    I am always so amazed as to how the vultures are multiplying as the years go by. They just seem to be taking over parts of Animal Kingdom! I remember it was the same on Discovery Island way back when. Disney tried a few controversial ways of getting them to leave without much success. I am not for doing ANYTHING to harm them, but I am always curious what Disney's stance is on this dilemma, and just how many of these birds can AK possibly hold!!

Such , such happy fun times . I have been back to Orlando several times since but not to these Parks , I tend to do Universal , Island of Adventure & Sea World .

      Gabb1Interactive yep, the animals on this safari occupy an immersive and realistic east Africa larger than the entire Magic Kingdom park, with various habitats/ecosytems ranging from the thick jungle to the open savanna. SeaWorld doesn't provide the same environment for their cetaceans and it has been their downfall.

    Is very small compared with the normal territory of these large animals, which are hundreds of kilometres away, in the animal Kingdom have them in nicely decorated pens but they can not move as they would in nature only to eat, sleep, and then die. They are imprisoned. Africa is much better.

    • @BigFatPanda
      @BigFatPanda  9 лет назад +14

      Mundoviajes Tacnatravels You may be correct - but I would point out that this is a much larger area than it looks. In Africa, I would have to worry about getting my own food and fighting off animals that would otherwise have me for dinner. I would be much happier here - no? :)

    • @takana5927
      @takana5927 8 лет назад +1

      But to conserve it is necessary to visit Africa, the tourism in that continent is scarce and people suffer for the few labor opportunities, if Disney created a bottom for the conservation I would support them.

      Actually, Disney has done a lot to make the animals as comfortable as possible. They gave 110 acres of their land (bigger than entire Magic Kingdom!) just for their animals. Hidden treats and barriers makes the Kilimanjaro Safaris seen no barrier.

      NDHvideos You don't like Animal Kingdom? I love it and don't think it is like a Zoo at all. When was the last time you were there?

      2006 for Animal Kingdom. I give Disney props for the park and the wildlife conservation. As a backcountry hiker and hunter, I just don't personally enjoy enclosed animals whether they need it or not.

      NDHvideos That's why I liked it so much because I didn't see them as enclosed - at all - they have a huge "savannah" to run through
