The original Jungle Cruise opened in 1955 at Disneyland Park. Based on Disney's award-winning True-Life Adventure films, Jungle Cruise premiered with a more serious and educational tone. In the early 1960s, however, Walt Disney decided to introduce more drama and lighthearted scenes and asked one of his most accomplished animators, Marc Davis, to sketch some humorous gags.
Today, the attraction exists at Disney theme parks around the world, except Disneyland Paris, and is considered a favorite among Guests.
I live in Florida, home of the Theme Park. Every theme park is full of rides. I have a pair of Pivothead HD sunglasses that allow me to film my ride on all of these theme park rides inconspicuously. I upload a new theme park Point of view or POV ride along every week. Look for new videos from Universal Orlando Resort, Islands of Adventure (Including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter ), Walt Disney World, Legoland Florida, Sea World, Bucsh Gardens and many many more. Roller coasters are kind of my specialty. They will always be front row and always be in HD.
This is the most passionate skipper I've seen on youtube. She's got a bright tone and she delivers the lines so naturally; I can only tell the difference between the scripted jokes and her own because I know this ride too well.

I got on that boat when I was 5 years old and I was so frightened. I cried and cried. The snakes and alligators, the boat. It was all traumatizing to me.

Everyday and i suggest dont work at disney its harder work than you think you have to smile alot and be nice to asshole guest and the worst job at disney is being a princess or in a full body costume it gets really hot at disney parks because of all the buildings and thousands of people and pls dont stalk the staff they hate it.

Our host was so funny but it was a man
Gotta say I was MASSIVELY disappointed with this ride. I feel bad saying it too as I know it's somewhat iconic in the States at the Disney parks. It's got a long history. I unfortunately just think it's in dire need of being livened up. The realistic animatronics look dull. The tour guides themselves seemed incredibly bored of their job having to entertain the guests. My solution? Convert this thing to an attraction based on The Jungle Book!! It's all there already, the elephant animatronics even have the trumpet sound effects of Col Hathi! Then they have that temple area full of monkeys and treasure....perfect spot for King Louie and his monkey pals! Add in that fantastic Sherman Brothers music along the journey and you have a new and improved ride that will delight everybody who remains to this very day dying for one based on the '67 movie. And in Adventureland there really should be one for Baloo and co, duh!
