Watching Disney World videos brings so much nostalgia. I would always go with my sister and my parents and grandparents. My grandpa still rides very intense rollercoasters. We went to Six Flags New England this past summer and he rode every single rollercoaster. Even looping ones. He would also ride Rockin Rollercoaster in MGM in Disney. I'm hoping to go to Disney World this fall.
My first-ever roller coaster was Space Mountain when I was 9, and I didn’t like not being able to see which way I was being slung around. However, I rode this one on the same vacation and I had a BLAST! Loved it enough to ride it twice. Now that I’m older and my eyesight bailed on me when I was a teenager, I’m not much of roller coaster rider. However, I’m a sucker for water slides!
I love this ride can't wait to go back here in Summer! Last year we queued, what felt like, forever but it was totally worth it in the end. So excited!
omg it has been almost 2 decades since I have been there...taking my own family for the first time as an adult in May literally GRINNING and crying while I watch this.
Wow, the new queue line looks great, much better than it did when I was there!!! This is my favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom, I rode it about 5 times the last time I was there!!! :)
This is the best video of Thunder Mountain I have seen so far. Seens alot since the recent interactive stuff was added. Pop, once again, you do it better then all the others. :)
Thanks for another great video! My boyfriend has never been on this ride (it was closed when we went for his first trip in 2012). He can't wait to go on when we go this year!
RoosterSkyGaming I do enjoy Universal and Islands of Adventure, especially if you want some more thrill rides, but Disney is tops in all other respects.
This for me is Classic Disney, really love it. Probably my favourite ride just for the nostalgia 😊 go on it five times in a row haha. If you get to the park for when it opens, there aren't many people there so you can get five minute queues, even for rides like space mountain. Then once you've been on them a few times, get fast passes and go on the smaller ones 😊
Super Kudos for taking the video from the backseat so we can actually see. Most videos film from right behind the engine, which is a terrible view. Also, I can whole heartedly say you are the only person to have successfully filmed the bat cavern from the beginning! Again, kudos to you and please keep making more incredible videos!
I love when people scream on a ride that's going 35 mph - around the same speed, give or take 5 mph, we'd drive in a residential neighborhood. Of course the sensation is much different on a ride, but it's still kinda funny when you think about it.
Your comment lets me realize that it is not the speed, but the acceleration, that makes people scream. Imagine you're driving 35 mph and having an accident. Scream, no?
I love that you can see the tree at the top of splash mountain as you ride around :) I live in the UK and I'd give anything to go to disney world, I'm a penniless adult but one day!
I think you could definitely ride it! The only "Drops" are really just turns that don't feel like much of a drop. You'll have really tiny ones here and there as you see in the video, but nothing big. My dad is also afraid of roller coasters and doesn't like drops, but he'll ride this one! (:
feels like going on it, watching it, felt sick ln another ride, so didnt go on it but i can see it on this channel, so it is basically the same as going on the ride, thanks for uploading.
"This here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!!!" Spectacular footage! This is one of my favorite attractions at WDW. Unfortunately, Big Thunder was down during our most recent visit. Bummer. But your video helps to heal my emotional wound :) Can't wait to get down there and ride it again!
I love this ride! one time when i came off it my whole family including me got these passes for a lot of rides so we dont have to wait in line. it was AWESOME!
The first day I got to disney world we arrived at the magic kingdom at about nine o clock and a while later got on this ride. Just as we crested the hill facing the castle just as the fireworks finale peaked. It was definetly the highlight of the weeklong vacation!
this is one of my all time favorite rides at disney world! the firdt time i rode it with my dad, i really wanted to go on it, but i was also terrified as well . after i rode it i was like, "OMG THAT WAS AWESOME I WANNA RIDE IT AGAIN!" and then a few years later, on our last day, it was raining and like no one was there so my dad and i rode it like 4 times in a row! and then we got lunch and ride peter pan's flight. I LOVE DISNEY SO MUCH I JUST CANT EVEN
I could spend all day at Walt Disney world going on all of the rides. Walt Disney world has great attractions. Walt Disney world always have new attractions. The layout at Walt Disney world is great.
They way Disney advertises this ride made me imagined it being kinda like a Haunted Mansion type thing with a roller coaster in it but I had this ride wrong. Looks like great fun for kids! Thanks for the video.
I ride this first when I was about 7, my mom told me it was "just a little train ride" and I believed her. The moment we started going down the first drop I was punching my mom and screaming "I HATE YOU" but I got off smiling. This was my first and always my favorite coaster.
Just realized I said "ride" instead of "rode" whoops! Anyway, honestly it has stayed as one of my top favorite rides, only being beaten by Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom.
My first time riding this was this past Summer in July. We had 5 people, me, my mom, my mom's friend and her two children. Her youngest child Andrew wanted to ride and I was paranoid because of when I heard of the Thunder Mountain incident with the collapsing trains. I enjoyed this so much, I also got paranoid during the dinasour part, I felt like I was gonna hit it lol
Amazing job on the camera work, moreso on keeping it so perfectly steady during the ride. Concerning the que path in the building, I noticed a bunch of dynamite plungers starting at 2:22 below the observation windows. Do they set of triggered events in the ride for those in the line to play around with? If so, that's a great idea.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is probably the best overall ride at the Magic Kingdom when taking into account the quality of the ride itself, and the attention to detail in the in ride scenery, and the area surrounding the entrance to the ride...
I like Disney world's big thunder better, but disneyland's is smoother. If Disney world redid the track like Disneyland did it would be a perfect ride.
Yishai Thau I agree. I like the one at Disneyland because it has all those little bumps, but it doesn’t have a long long long drop. I hate the long drops or steep drops. I don’t mind all the little bumps.
I got in this ride IT WAS AMAZING super Fast and fun i liked when it goes down I loved Disney world and the suprise was I also went to jurassic park and universal studios And i was in the Nickelodeon hotel , We Went on a Airplane to orlando frorida😄😅
I was your age, and I had a soar throat while screaming in the ride, and I had the feeling that I'm going to fall, I was holding the hand rail so tight, and I was sometimes closing my eyes during the ride.
I rode this has a little kid maybe 8 years old back in the 80s. I'm not a fan of roller coasters and while it doesn't look like a big deal in the video and probably isn't for an adult as a little kid it was quite terrifying. I remember the ride vividly and felt like I was going to slip out of the seat as we went around the curves. It definitely left lasting impressions.
haven't ridden this since I was a kid.. hoping to take my kids over their spring break if all works out.. gonna surprise them the night before we leave :-)
I remember this ride when i was 11 it was the only ride i didnt wanted to go on like i went on space mountain and splash mountain but not this ride and i still ask myself Why???!!!
for the person that asked about fast passes. Its my understanding that the fast pass system as it was is no longer in place. Now the only way to get a "fast pass" is to do the fast pass plus. And currently the only way to do that is stay at the resort...
Nah, you don't have to stay at one of their resorts to use fast pass. I was just there last week and we stayed off property. We had access to fast pass plus. It's kind of a crappy system though.
***** not at all. fast pass plus allows you to plan your day (for the most part) on the spot rather than run around the park to get pieces of paper that can get lost and also be for a ride at an undesired time. fast pass plus is fantastic. did it at animal kingdom a week ago. managed to everything in the park, and then some.
I realize that now. At the time I only had limited amount of information because at the time they were still testing the fast pass plus planning for resort guests. I realize that you could still obtain fast passes at the park if you were off property but you could not make your selections ahead of time. Now that and a lot of other things have changed in the system.
wait you can only get 3 fast passes though the whole day that sucks for someone with a wheelchair who they told me the get fast passes since they no longer do the wheel chair line any more

This ride is fenominal! One of the most unforgetable experiences when I went!😁😁
Nice video! I like seeing all the stuff before the ride that some people just whizz by without seeing.
You MUST ride this during the fireworks! There's nearly no crowd and there's the added experience.
I did that last time I was at Disney. it was AMAZING.
Ooooh nice ill try that
Had this ride on FastPass so I didn't get to see all of the stuff that most see while waiting to ride. thanks for posting!
The scenery is always so awesome!!!
Wow, the new queue line looks great, much better than it did when I was there!!! This is my favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom, I rode it about 5 times the last time I was there!!! :)
Love this coaster. One of my favorites, the scenery is awesome.
who ever filmed this is really good at not losing the camera !!!
I’ve always thought that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was the most underrated ride a Disney World.
The first ride I ever did at Disney world on my first trip. It has the most nostalgia for me.
last time I went in December this ride was down and it is my favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom
One of the best attraction videos out there.
Those are fun to set off when the trains go by them! Most people aren't expecting mine shafts to be blasting as they ride by. :3
This is the best video of Thunder Mountain I have seen so far. Seens alot since the recent interactive stuff was added.
Pop, once again, you do it better then all the others. :)
I went on this ride early like 40min after Magic Kingdom opened and nobody was there. After the ride, everybody was there
Brings back memories , I feel old man was here in 97 can't believe it's still there : )
I went here on September 15. This is my favorite ride at magic kingdom. I rode it twice. I miss it so much
I know right, I feel the same way.
Ikr I miss all the mountains
The scenery makes Big Thunder Mountain. It's a quality ride!
This ride is one of the best in Disney world. This is one of the best things to do while there other than eat the food, obviously
Very bad whiplash
I love it too
Thanks for another great video! My boyfriend has never been on this ride (it was closed when we went for his first trip in 2012). He can't wait to go on when we go this year!
It's true you pay top dollar to go to a Disney park, but you get the most for your money and the place is always spotless
It is true I go there all the time you get your money's worth when you walk in there. Get a chance go by the way go tigers!!!
Cookie Mobster Go Tigs!
Its SO much better than Island of Adventure,
RoosterSkyGaming I do enjoy Universal and Islands of Adventure, especially if you want some more thrill rides, but Disney is tops in all other respects.
Yeah. I can't wait to go back. My family has season passes that expire soon and we are going his summer.
Ah!!! Even though I went to Disney World this past summer watching these videos makes me want to go back so bad!
This for me is Classic Disney, really love it. Probably my favourite ride just for the nostalgia 😊 go on it five times in a row haha. If you get to the park for when it opens, there aren't many people there so you can get five minute queues, even for rides like space mountain. Georgia Bezzy same here. i love the style, its a beautiful ride. Fronteir Land has to be one of the best parts of Disney :)
I loved this ride so much but my sister is so scared of it.

Read my mind word for word
Thanks for the correction, Pits!
If you watched one of the Kilimanjaro Safari videos, someone was making a big deal about the vehicle going 8 MPH. Kinda sad when you think about it.
Your comment lets me realize that it is not the speed, but the acceleration, that makes people scream. Imagine you're driving 35 mph and having an accident. Scream, no?
They scream because it’s fun.
All of the little details on the rides, makes Disney a geat place to go.
I really like how they are integrating interactivity in a lot of their new and refurbed attractions. Makes sitting in the line a bit easier...a bit
Best videos ever. No dumb "hosts" talking whatsoever! Just what we want to see.
I never got to go on this ride the times I've been to WDW. Thank your for sharing this. Always wanted to know what the ride was like.
I love that you can see the tree at the top of splash mountain as you ride around :) I live in the UK and I'd give anything to go to disney world, I'm a penniless adult but one day!
Best ride out of all the Disney rides in Florida
Chewy. cm
Too slow
One more month. So worth the four years I've had to wait.
Watching these Disney ride POVs give me so much nostalgia, I can't wait to go back there!

Spectacular footage! This is one of my favorite attractions at WDW. Unfortunately, Big Thunder was down during our most recent visit. Bummer. But your video helps to heal my emotional wound :) Can't wait to get down there and ride it again!

+DarkKid Insane yeah, I don't like that part mostly because it's really loud, but other than that, Big Thunder Mountain is awesome!!
How about you go and work there? You get free access to all parks.
*****
No, Cagegirl 21... But you can work there as well once you're 18!

I could spend all day at Walt Disney world going on all of the rides. Walt Disney world has great attractions. Walt Disney world always have new attractions. The layout at Walt Disney world is great.

Disney here we come. January 2017
I went on this while the fireworks where going off last time I was at Disney. it was amazing 😍
Awesome. I truly loved it!
Amazing job on the camera work, moreso on keeping it so perfectly steady during the ride. It's awesome experience .....I went that ride alone...
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is probably the best overall ride at the Magic Kingdom when taking into account the quality of the ride itself, and the attention to detail in the in ride scenery, and the area surrounding the entrance to the ride...
Im going in june cant wait Big Thunder Mountain's is also my number 1in Disney :)
Last time I went here I was about 6 or 7, and I remember this being my favorite ride.
I loved that ride!
IT'S BEST TO RIDE THIS AT NIGHT!
i like how at the misty part theres one guy who puts his hood on... the guy with the yellow hood.
I went to The Magic Kingdom for my B-Day in March 2018 and i rode this ride 3 times i love it so much i wanted to ride it 20 times.
this ride is so fun me and my son went on it and it was so cool :)

I can't wait to see the new queue in June!
I like your video very much ist bring
back good Memory
I was once staying at the Grand Floridian resort, so we got 2 extra magic hours and nobody was there, so we rode this 5 times in a row
Back row is the best because if in front at the drop it stops but if in back right when u get to the top u drop
IK we had to sit in the front but the guy who told us to actually asked if we wanted to sit in the back and we said yes. Very tame back there.
Went on this today for the first time and loved it.
Darn you missed: "THE WILDEST RIDE IN THE WILDERNESS!!"
My favorite ride! Thanks!
I got in this ride IT WAS AMAZING super
Fast and fun i liked when it goes down
I loved Disney world and the suprise was
I also went to jurassic park and universal studios
And i was in the Nickelodeon hotel , We
Went on a Airplane to orlando frorida😄😅
I went on this 6 times it never gets old :)
I started crying in this ride and I went when I was 11 and now I'm 12 and I'm going in two months😂😂
i went on when i was like four and didnt cry lol
I was your age, and I had a soar throat while screaming in the ride, and I had the feeling that I'm going to fall, I was holding the hand rail so tight, and I was sometimes closing my eyes during the ride.
This ride is amazing!!
I remember when i went their in the train ride and i scream all in the ride every one was looking at me like :what is wrong with your child.
3 words to describe this ride
1. Fun
2. Fast
3. LOUD AS frICK!
I went on this a while ago and it was awesome
you have the best job ever :)
I got to try thins when I'm in FL again!
I rode this has a little kid maybe 8 years old back in the 80s. the girl that sniffed her armpit right when they got on the train

+Jonathan Taylor that's true, I hate going on the back because one time I was and car lifted off for like a split second

wait you can only get 3 fast passes though the whole day that sucks for someone with a wheelchair who they told me the get fast passes since they no longer do the wheel chair line any more
Normally I'm all for riding front seat but for this ride, you'll find me in the very back.
