This is the best beginner roller coaster.
Roller coaster designer John Wardley said that the genius of BTMR is that it doesn't look or feel like a roller coaster.

I went on this ride like right around my tenth birthday and cried my eyes out in the line but once I went on it I loved it. Definitely a great ride for people who don’t like big roller coasters. And you can NOT miss out on this ride it is 1000% worth it!!!
I remember I went on this when I was six and I was TERRIFIED! Then I went on it a few years later it’s so fun

Same was scared that it was going to do loop dI loops but turns out I love it the scariest part was the big drop

One of the best level 2 coaster rides. More fun than 7 dwarves in my opinion

I noticed no steep sudden drops, I would love this ride

I went in this ride for my birthday with my family and my aunt. I was terrified at first but I went on it and it’s now my favorite ride in the park! Then at night, my dad and I snagged a ride during the firework show (which b the way is about the best time to go on it) and as soon as we came out of the first tunnel… fssht.. BOOM!!! It was amazing!

I rode this with my sister last year, and it was cool for a first ride ever in Disney World! It's gonna close down soon; I know, what a shame. But I'm glad we rode it when we did.

I rode this for the first time when I was 5 and I loved it. This was always one of my favorite rides at Disney world

@@jamescoupland131 yeah I’m in the US and there was a Disney world trip, except it was 9th grade (year 10), and you only got to go if you were in band, chorus or any other music program since the school marching band got to perform in a parade at Magic Kingdom.
It's one of my favorite rides!

I went on the American eagle at six flags when I was 6 years old (for some reason my parents let me ride on it 🤦🏽♀️) and I was traumatized afterwards. THIS is the type of ride I should’ve been on 😂

It makes sense, though. Europa-Park is much cheaper and just as good if not better, and Islands of Adventure is much better, with Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, VelociCoaster, The Incredible Hulk, Spiderman, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Don't worry, you'll be able to go to Disney once you get a job

No, its MEANT TO SHAKE
They’re not broken per se, but they got turned off permanently along with the ones at the other parks around 2011-12 because of an incident at Paris where a rock broke off

No, most Disney coasters don't have big drops. The only one that does is Expedition Everest
I rode this today. I felt like i was going to become deaf after the first cave part with the bats, that part is the definition of louder than it looks. Awesome ride tho, i literally jumped of my seat, insane airtime, and insane speed.
Is it rickety? That’s all I’m scared of since I’ve been on a big wooden coaster and it was very rickety
@snowflurry1 I'm pretty sure that Big Thunder Mountain's rails are made of steel, but to answer your question, yeah, it's rickety. There are some bumps, loud parts (just one), and bunny hops that make you jump a little bit. Don't be scared tho, the ride is awesome.
