- Today we will take a look at my Dodge Charger RT 5.7 L V8 hemi with 400 pound feet of torque. Today we hit the ground running as I demonstrate some of the power and performance capabilities of this vehicle. Is it a suitable daily driver or should you look at other four-door sedans in the eights in the current market, which could perhaps be more optimal.

It's a great car. Long distance traveling I get 27 mpg in the R/T. As a daily, when I fill up I'm at 21-22 mpg per tank. I put it in sport mode when I'm not on the interstate, so the fun factor and fuel consumption goes up but the average is still over 20 mpg. It's a fun daily driver. My 0-60 time is 5.2 every time and I'm not using launch control or doing anything to prep for launching. Love the car!
Omg you MPG is so good. In all honesty bro ive been driving with the car in sport mode alot due to the issue im having with the valve getting stuck. Hopefully once I get everything fixed with that I can drive in eco mode more which could help improve my mpg!
@@roxymopar it's 32 miles (each way) to work and after 5 days I fill up and the car will be a touch under a quarter tank.
I daily drive my R/T everyday and love it!

I mean you could, but I don’t daily my ‘22 Charger Scat Pack. I have a daily to get me from point A to B….the Scat is maybe a twice a month weekend warrior. Only 699 miles on the clock.
I feel that bro! i’m filling up frequently with the RT (based on my commented) i could only imagine how it would be to daily a scat! Smart choice on picking up a daily
@@roxymopar I did daily my Scat when I first got her, and I was literally at the pump 2-3 times a week lol 😂 I never complained though, smiles per gallon, that’s why I bought this car.
