  • Not much difference until you hear it under acceleration. My Fury has Danny Gray Big Solo Seat. (Nice back support, but not as comfy as factory seat) Cobra intake breather and Cobra Exhaust. Pwr Cmdr V (No good map yet as it still pops on decel, but I can tell I have a broader pwr band) Cobra luggage rack (drilled an extra hole so it would work with DG seat. Nice look and function) Cannella Fury Riser (AWESOME!)

    I just bought the exact same bike this summer put the exact same exhaust on my bike and I absolutely loved it..
    Until I seen your video then removed the baffles.
    Now my wife absolutely hates it when I leave for work at 6 in the morning and so do the neighbours LOL.. either way thanks for the idea

    Wow! I never thought that a Honda could ever sound like a Harley.

    • @VIDEOZAL

      ***** Same combustion engine. It can sound any way you want. Ferrari has a special team that makes their engine sound the way it sounds.

      Mr fisherman HD has a patent on their head design and the angle/degree of separation in the cams...that is what gives them their unique sound.

    • @VIDEOZAL
      @VIDEOZAL 9 лет назад +3

      ***** May be. I always liked HD's. However, my statement still stays. ANY engine can sound any way the maker wants it to sound.

      +Mr fisherman Again...NOT true...If so, I would love for Honda to make my 2-stroke weed eater sound like a Ferrari V-12.

    • @TheFakeFatLegitimate
      @TheFakeFatLegitimate 8 лет назад +3

      +TheHondaBikeGuy fisherman is right, that's just silly extremes, but you could make any engine (normal car engine, not a super tanker engine) sound the way you want with customs exhausts, and bear in mind, saying you can't make a v twin sound like a v12 is another extreme, we're talking about pitch or tone. All to do with displacement and timings etc...

    Those baffles are also for performance. Tuned back pressure is good for the bike.

    Those Cobra Speedsters are great looking and sounding pipes on the Fury 80 ci engine either way. Some gas-popping on decels with aftermarket style-pipes like Cobras and V&H is no big thing to me. I just pull in the clutch and that quells it or let it rumble to spook 'em.

    • @RifleAccuracyandReloading

      +Jack Babson One there is no "flame" reaching that distance from the engine. Second, the pipes dont get hot enough to ignite the WD.

    • @RifleAccuracyandReloading

      Grade 8 , 1/4 bolt long enough to go through the pipe with a nut to secure it. Might of had to grind the tip of the bolt to make it fit.

    • @RifleAccuracyandReloading
      @RifleAccuracyandReloading  3 года назад +1

      No, because the auto tuner detected the increase in air floe and increased any additional fuel requirements.

    • @billwhite7316

      Many say no, but it's better to be prudent and get one.

    • @Vikingsmoke
      @Vikingsmoke 2 года назад

      You should run a fuel programmer on it.

    • @ChauToVal
      @ChauToVal 2 года назад

      It’s necessary. My bike started running a lot hotter than before. Exhaust can turn blue from super high heat. Piston rings and valve can get seized after long term riding without fuel mgmt. oil also gets overheated. It’s an extra caution to buy the fuel mgmt to boost fuel since you’ve now added more airflow to your engine. Too much air, too lean.

    sounds like you are running lean my friend... it needs to be warmer to stay on: a good indicator of thirst for gas. I am assuming you rejetted for the cobras, so start-up should be easier than with stock, not harder. In good weather like that, that bike should fire right up like it was already hot. try adding a half step washer on your jet needles. if it still seems thirsty, remove washers and move e-clips down one step. even in 30 degree weather, it should start easily. It's not good to rev your engine for a bike to stay on. use choke or don't use choke, but do not rev.

    • @RifleAccuracyandReloading
      @RifleAccuracyandReloading  9 лет назад +6

      Astrophenotype 1: It is Fuel Injected. 2. No Choke 3. Bike was obviously COLD...who plays with the exhaust on a HOT bike. 4. Even COLD it started just fine. 5. Wasn't revving engine to keep the bike going.
