    Enjoy watching you figure out solutions to problems. Appreciate creativity / thinking outside the box by people who, indeed, think for themselves! Had to smile as you mentioned rain & figuring out what to do next. A blessing to have freedom of choice!
    Yet, forecast for this morning, for us, is heavy rain for drive-in church this morning. (sigh)
    Hope you and Charly have a blessed Sunday.

      It is truly a blessing to have the freedom of choice that I have. I cherish freedom. I bought my own truck many years ago because of the freedom it afforded me. Some folks are content to be confined to a small world with very limited choices. I tried that life in the Army. 3 years was all I could do.

    You can adjust the rear shock, when you pop off the plastic cover on the right side. No need to remove the seat. So easy!

  • @WillowsGarden
    @WillowsGarden 4 года назад

    Solved that problem, nice ingenuity. Now the windshields and fixing the seat and you will be set for a nice ride. Your hand still looks rough, you haven't made Charly mad again I hope, lol. Y'all take care and be safe!

    Thanks for the video! After weighing the various Cobra, Vance and Hines, etc options. This is definitely a go-to, First step! Since you ended up drilling it from the back, I'm going to try drilling it in place on the bike... My plan is to use the nuts like you did on a 24 inch long piece of 3/8" all-thread through the holesaw.

    You could install a bacon grease drip into the muffler so if you get lost you can follow the bacon scent trail to get back home 😄

    • @bctruck
      @bctruck  4 года назад +1

      Then I would have to dodge all the people in the road trying to follow my scent trail.

    @BCtruck, BC Blades - Are you looking into installing a tachometer gauge onto the motorcycle, either factory style or aftermarket?

    • @bctruck
      @bctruck  4 года назад +1

      No, as long as I can hear the ripems , I’m ok.

    • @JeffsFreedomGarage
      @JeffsFreedomGarage 4 года назад

      @@bctruck - Yeah, I agree.
      I Googled the aftermarket ones that mate up to the speedometer and the ones that replace the original speedometer with tachometer built-in. They start in the two hundred dollar range and top out in the five hundred dollar range.
      The cheap, (I'd be embarrassed if anyone saw it on my bike fifty dollar Chinesium), tachometer looks like you'd have to hide it and hope it functions correctly is an option too.

    I’m not a fan of super loud exhausts, but on a bike it’s good so other vehicles can hear you and know you’re there even if they aren’t looking

    • @bctruck
      @bctruck  4 года назад

      Me neither. It’s just loud enough to hear over the wind noise. You have to wonder what someone’s motivation is for having a bike so loud that it pisses people off. What are they compensating for?

      Much better than stock,free, and not loud enough to bother my neighbors. We ordered some baffles for my wifes bike. I'll be doing the opposite to hers when they get here.

  • @zacharyvaporis739

    I was wondering you would be able to do a quick video on rear, or upper, exhaust. Particularly, how the heat shield is connected to the main exhaust near the exhaust manifold. It is two parts, the main heat shield and a secondary bulge.
    My small children have been using the exhaust to climb onto the seat and now the upper heat shild near the manifold wiggles easily and don't know how to stop it from doing that.
    Thanks
