I've been using this tool for a while now. Great tool if you're a freelancer. You can easily transform a client's company logo into a 3D object, set up a scene with a few tricks, and render a still image with 3D perspective. People are blown away by it and think it took you hours, but it actually only takes about 10 minutes for basic stuff.
I just wanted to say I struggled to learn about a bunch of processes when it comes to 3d modeling. It was your axe tutorial that finally just cut through all the extra stuff and got me to understanding how to make things work like i wanted them to in blender. Thank you sincerely.
Damn I should learn conversion like that earlier... Now, because of habit I stuck with simple shapes and boolean +subvision+curves and I'm to stubborn to change that habit 🙄
cool video! i got a 2d logo as a jpeg file, is there a way to convert it to an svg file? so that i can follow your tutorial and use the logo in blender
I know this is old comment but I find using canva the easiest. You can simply paste your logo or make one there. Resize and save as SVG then right into blender. No application needed and a very clean interface.
@@grabbitt this video specifically you mean? ruclips.net/video/dwckkNiSkMc/видео.html ain't this a regular animation render? Sorry for being crap at finding stuff.
@@conspirisi yes thats correct. i thought thats want you wnted. If you put an hdri in the background of your scene then it will look exactly like eevee
@@grabbitt no sorry, the way I figure Eevee looks ok sometimes, often I feel like if I could export the viewport I wouldn't have to wait for a cycles rendered animation.

It was entirely coincidence that I was contacted by zarla 🙂👍
Reduce the Faces after converting to mesh with the Decimate modifier (set to "planar"). Works perfect. :)

Downloaded it to look at the graphics. Only got through the tutorial stuff
Never thought i will get this early
I dont know If Grant already answered this in any of his videos but, did he study anything or got a degree in order to be a 3D artist?
No just took online courses and practice
@@grabbitt I've decided to take that path too, now I feel more confidence. Thank you!
