In recent days I've been trying to help friends get into Blender, and have always pointed to this channel as a resource, so this comes at a perfect time! Thanks, as always, for making these lessons available. You're like the Bob Ross of Blender.
Hey man, i appreciate all the work you do. Between you, and a couple other youtubers, im starting to actually feel a little confident in my modelling abilities!
Hi Grant Abbitt, thank you very much to update your well even if I finished the 2.8 well project one week ago 😆. By the way, I would like to mention how much I enjoy your videos. Passion, friendly explanations and great british accent are your best skills ! Please keep your motivation. Congrats.
Well done tutorial Grant. I'm definitely going to do this one as I'm planning to design a whole building that I want to then 3D print and gift to the people that work in that building. No worries, I know everything about making meshes watertight. I just need to get back into modeling in Blender again 👍🏼
My simple deform modifier didnt work properly and i just want to express my appreciation of your thoughtfulness to suggest fixes if any problems occur. I just needed to apply rotation :)
Damn that was my first thing i ever made in blender when 2.8 version showed and UI wasnt repulsive. I wont lie my well was ugly and not very optimised but it was something. Then the Monster and Sea Shack and Flying Castle. Thank You for all this years of great stuff. You got me started 3D. Respect Man.
Great tutorial as always, even when I've made a tremendous mistake and my curve modifier seems to summon beings from outer space, I can retrace my steps to summon a different one.
If you have issues with SimpleDeform modifier like it`s making object wider instead of bending it. Rotating it so the object aligns with the x axis and then applying rotation should fix the issue. At least it did for me
Ah, in 2019 this tutorial was a great intro to modeling for me I still suck at it because I just stopped 2 years ago for various reasons but I'm getting back to learning because of godot
Hey Grant. Thanks again for the updated lesson. A question if i may. What is the effect of the blocks origins being different? At around 7:50 there's a point where all origins are visible and some are relative to the geometry but another with one on the "bottom" of the mesh. Should I make it so the origins are matching throughout?
Hi, I have a beginner question. lets say i wanna do a game for fun to play with friends... do i have to save every character, weapon and buildings as a separate file? or save them together in one file?
The bend part where u bend the stones doesn't work for me it does bend but not like u show in the video urs is a perfect cyrcal but mine when i bend the stone get thicker and bend i have no idea how to fix it i rewatched the video 3 times and it didnt work That what i ment and i bit more specific
oh the nostalgia! i did the first one years back. you got me started! thank you for all you do!!
Very much so. I did the original back in 2020. neat watching a new version again.

I always wanted to do the old tutorial version of this
Hey I learn a lot from your videos. I want to be a game artist and I have just started. So, can I consider this as a low-poly game modeling?
Yes
here for the soothing asmr voice 😢

Wishing you well K'Abbitt
สวัสดีครับ Great to see another viewer here in Bangkok.

It will be its pivot point so generally not a big issue
I like the theme of your blender. Can you help me com figure out mine like that, please?

Separate Files as far as I'm aware
@@grabbitt Thank you :)
how do i get the options on the left bottom?
Do you think the Get Good @ Blender is still good to go through for Blender 4?
Yes should still be very helpful
Thanks Daddy Grant
sick
I know there’s 4 more videos right there give it to us fast!!! Pleaseeee 😅
Bend deformer is creating ablong circles and I have no idea why. Do you know why this happens?
I have been following your tutorial to a tee.
So to solve the issue scale has to be applied so the object is at scale 1.000.
It was my mistake ;)
this video made me realize that the speed up feture in youtube is too slow XD
Yeah it's difficult to find the perfect pace for everyone
Is it new tutorial or old one? I remember I`ve seen the same 5 ears ago ...
30 seconds in he says he's using version 4.2, so think about it
its a remake of the old one with a few better tips and using the latest version
You're going back to the well for ideas, are you?
yes it was a popular video and needed updating
The bend part where u bend the stones doesn't work for me it does bend but not like u show in the video urs is a perfect cyrcal but mine when i bend the stone get thicker and bend i have no idea how to fix it i rewatched the video 3 times and it didnt work
That what i ment and i bit more specific
End? Try to be more specific and I might be able to belp
select all the blocks and ctrl + a to add the scale
The other 4 videos are hidden, whats up with that
Each day new release
Why my lap not working edge loop alt a,😊
Alt a is deselect all
@grabbitt sorry alt and left click not work
yes emulate numpad was default thats why,i changed but every time it reset
@തേങ്ങാക്കൊല save your settings in bottem left of preferences
