- Sometimes, I like to go out and just practice take offs and landings. Nailing a perfect landing with lots of energy is always super rewarding, it's something I nearly obsess over. Hope you guys enjoy.

Hi Tucker, I love your channel!
Being a paraglider pilot myself, I'm just a bit surprised by the fact than no one in the comments appears to be pointing out that dynamic landings like you are demonstrating in this video require a lot of experience because mis-judging the situation may result in a hard landing at best, which is bad enough if you don't have a heavy machine strapped to your back. As some say: you make it look easy. Beginners need to know that it isn't. As a novice pilot one needs to keep accordingly bigger margins!
There is Nothing better than looking in your feed and seeing tucker gott posted a video

I luv RUclips channels that are about nothing more than what someone luvs. This is a perfect example of that. It’s not about politics or religion just some person doing something he luvs. It’s so easy to see the intent in this, he just luvs to Paramotor. So cool!
Thank you! Loved this video...I really like when u talk us through what you are doing, how far you are pulling brakes on landing etc and the different camera views. Thoroughly enjoyed the tutorial type...yes, yes...more please!
Ribeye Robert D wut
Did Rib Eye Robert ever recover from that stroke he had while leaving that comment?
Great video Tucker, really like how you explain things your doing. Your such a inspiration to me. Thanks for your comments and the amount of time you give us making your videos.
Tucker! I like all your video's but really like the Tutorials. Thanks.
Each day I want to get into this more and more due to your videos !
Tucker - great tutorial video. I PG and am looking to try PPG so some was familiar, some new.
I agree with Michelle: "I really like when u talk us through what you are doing, how far you are pulling brakes on landing etc and the different camera views. Thoroughly enjoyed the tutorial type...yes, yes...more please!" Can't say it better than that!
its freedom in backpack form. i absolutely love this, i am completely hooked and want one right now. such amazing potential in these motors, what a great way to fly. Thank you for posting.
The ground camera was a nice touch. Its great to see another perspective of take off's and playing around.
its crazy to realize how low that prop guard really gets when hes that low
Great video. Maybe a follow-up on trims: what they are, what they change, how they affect different aspects of the flight at different settings (landing, climbing, turning, barrel rolling, etc.)?
Jacob Brubaker Trim, at least on most aircraft, makes small changes to pitch. This helps an aircraft keep its altitude or heading. I'm not entirely sure how trim works on a paraglider, though
then why mention it?
YankeeinSC1 Its the same concept
nope.
YankeeinSC1 Care to explain instead of being a smartass?
Great video, this is exactly how I need to land in my field (due to property lines). You and Schanze need to have a competition. After watching a few of your videos, it looks like you have every bit as much wing control as he does.
You're amazing. This was a few years ago, and you were still so good at flying. You and that Glider have been one for a very long time.
I'm already learning so much just by watching Tucker I'm just learning and had my 3rd lesson today my instructor said I'm I learning from another instructor because I'm already getting good I said no I'm just watching Tucker on RUclips he said well it's working for me. So thanks Tucker please keep videos like this coming
I love how you're going back to the basics. I did that with RC planes. I did touch and goes all day long for quite a while. Others wondered why I did that so much, but now I can land anything way better than most more experienced pilots. Same with helis. I can out hover ANYONE!... Well,, almost. But still,,,, it pays off BIG LEAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, the ones that will be practicing these are newbies and your base to final approaches are NOT for those people. They should line up further out and feel it out. These fast approaches could be ankle busters. Not stepping on your teachings, just clarifying that these are for intermediate to advanced flyers. It's all too easy for a guy to want to impress his mates with a cool new maneuver and end up in the hospital trying to advance too quickly. YOU my feathered friend were born with wings, God bless you, but most are not. Great tips for those up to it though bud. Keep the vids coming for I am building my dream bucket list off of them. Love ya bro. Clear skies and happy landings!
Quite possibly the most informative skill set video for this sport. Keep up the tutorials. Thanks Tucker.
I can't imagine how confident you have to be to do those rolls that low, like one mistake of overshooting it could be catastrophic, you're dang good at this!
Thank you for these videos. I've stumbled on your channel by complete chance and got inspired to fly.
I'm on my 3rd day of training now and these teaching videos help me to mentally prepare and not be too afraid to progress.
Thanks, that was great. Love the tips, and camera view from the ground. Watched you fly at wings over winter, and you've inspired me to clean up my takeoffs, and landings.
Yep, I agree with some of the other folks - I REALLY LIKE THE TUTORIALS & TALK-THROUGHS!!! THANKS Tucker!
EXTREME!!!!! You rock Tuck...I finally subscribed...long time watcher. I have no idea why it took me so long!
Straight to the point editing, quality footage/sound and best of all not incredibly annoying, 10/10
Rad!! I appreciate it!
Very good info/insight to landings. Thank you.
Haven’t bought my first rig yet and waiting to attend proper instruction but learning a lot from you till then. Thanks.
Awesome, Tucker, you are an absolute Savant of Paramotoring.
I really don't understand who might be giving a thumbs down on ANY of your vids. They're a blast to watch.
Tutorials are inspirational. .. gets my juices flowing. ..
Great fun! You can tell how much you enjoy flying! Nice down jacket too! Rad colour!
Nice video Tucker. You are one of the reasons I am about to start my training here in the UK. Already got a Dudek Synthesis 2 wing and probably going for a Parajet Zenith with Moster 185 engine for my 93 kilos. Keep up the info videos. Always appreciated. Cheers, Steve
Thanks Tucker, a nice instruction video. It's the diving aspect to create some energy that gives me the "risky biscuits" feeling I can't get over while heading straight for the ground so low to the ground...I just hate those face plants.
Lmao, I got my parents hooked on your videos. This is such a good idea for a RUclips channel.
That's rad!!
Whoa yessir, that was informative & very entertaining! I would love to see more vids like this, deffo !! I’m dreaming of getting into the English sky in 2020, in training & watching as many of your videos as possible. Sky School here I come !!
I love the tutorial videos! I suck at landing so thanks for all the commentary and visuals. Just a suggestion for another video is how to reverse launch. Or just a quick vid showing how you tie down the motor to your trailer hitch.
Enjoyed seeing the perspective from the ground. Thanks for sharing your experience.
This is an incredible video! The different camera perspectives are great as well!
I really like the ground video view, it really gives us a sense of how fast you are going. You're cooking. And the feet slide on the landing looks pretty good.
Dude, i am a private pilot and been flying since 2004 and i love it but after watching few of your videos man i think this is going to be my next passion. 🤙
Come down to Utah, PotM, some time Tucker. Your vids make me want a paramotor so much, keep it up.
Hi Tucker! I just came across you today. What a great video and in detail!! I've always wanted to try this and just the last few weeks I've been looking for prices and lessons in my area. I hope to try it ASAP!! It's always been a dream of mine and I'm going to make this one come true one of these days soon enough. Hell Yeah!!
And I look forward to seeing more of your videos!
Thanks.
I really like and appreciate your efforts to show us your flights. I really like that you are trying to educate us rather than just take another video of flying like some do. Even more how to and instructive talk would be good in my opinion. The video taping of the landing from two perspective cameras was a very nice touch. One technique that I learned this summer from an advanced instructor regarding a method to get extra energy for the landing is to pump the brakes three times at an elevation of maybe 75 ft. or so. Try it up high to get a feel for it first. It is a very noticeable dive and then the pendulum swing that follows. Try it. Let me know what you think. I had a ball when I learned it. Thanks for your videos and effort.
Damn bro. I love this channel so much, so chill to watch. Thanks man
Yep. Very cool perspectives to go along with your commentary. Very cool. Much appreciated
I like your tutorial-style videos. I plan on taking lessons in another six weeks or so from now. Keep up the good work!
that was beautiful Tucker, you're edits are unreal
Amazing! I spoke too soon in my previous comment. Never the less, more cameras = bigger Wow factor!! AND ... You're in NJ. I got family in Toms River.
Thanks for giving me my next ambition in life, Tucker!.. I'm so going to teach myself that.. peace from Istanbul!
Hey Jersey boy, Tucker! Love watching yer posts, bro! Funny what RUclips can find for a guy into guitars & such. Never the less, dude.... you make me wanna try this thang you do!!! Nuff. Be well, sir!
Love the tutorials, think I could hook a wing to my supercross bike?
I love this tutorial style. do you already have a tutorial style vid on your trim settings? Also would enjoy more info on styles of chutes/wings. I want to fly. thank you very much for doing what you do.
Oh crap. Just what I needed, another obsession.
Great videos! Thanks so much!
hey Tucker I've been watching a bunch of your videos today and am hooked. your great with the camera and it's easy to see why you love this so much. Crater one was my favorite so far. this is definitely something I wish to take on and was wondering how a person who is terribly afraid of heights would go about getting started. the reason I'm afraid of heights I believe is because I'm not in control but I think this could totally change that. anyway your awesome and look forward to more videos. rock on flyman
Would love to see more! These are awesome to watch as a new PPG pilot. Would be cool too see one on how to barrel roll.
Excelent video Tucker. It is very good to see the maneuvers from the other camera
How exciting.. I'd love to try this out! OMG, I'm already stoked! Such a well done video. Please do more.`
I enjoy how you focus on a single aspect in this video. very interesting to hear you talk about your skill set!
Tucker I bow down in awe! Dude, that was one great video!!
Nice tutorial. I'm a beginner in paramotor and this is very instructive, thanks !
Totally awesome or rad as you would say. Great stuff. Made my day coming across this
Good idea, I'm going to get out there this week and so loads of takeoffs and landings - I usually only do 1 of each per session, so I think this is a really good idea. Nice video!
Awesome dude.👌😻👊. Loving your Vids.🙏. I never get bored watching you fly those Skyes.✈️🤣😊💪💪💪
Great fun video as always.
Have you done a video on what all the different lines are going to the wing and what they do. I hear you talk about them but sure which lines they are or what they are used for. Oh yeah good landings...thanks
Hey Tucker -- I like all your video's but really like the Tutorials also. Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences and the tutorials are very interesting. Im just about to turn 60 and have done alot of crazy things but I dont know about this--keep the videos coming
Nice job! More tutorial vlogs like this would be awesome! Maybe one on techniques for dealing with turbulence or maybe emergency procedures? Whatever you come up with I'm sure it will be entertaining. Keep up the good work :)
This looks rad man! I'm sold...just stuck paramotor training on my Christmas list. 👍
Tucker, so uplifting, your videos... pun, I know. Could you please do a session on how the back pack propeller is strapped on and how the airflow is enabled given that your torso would appear to block it... how it works... how you start the engine in detail... how you control it... man you need a photographer volunteer...Thanks again!
I love the tutorial style videos, keep making them, just don't stop making the other cool videos as well.
Very very good tutorial!! Keep on Tucker.
As someone that wants to get into the hobby, I'd love to see more tutorial style videos. Keep up with the great content!
Haha dude you are a beast, this is sick. I have always wanted an ultralight or something, this seems like a different but good option. Keep it up.
Great videos! You put a lot of work in front of, and behind the camera. Very informative, keep up the fantastic work.
easily the best on youtube! this is insane, so keen to get into it!
Your Park is a 'Field of Dreams' for me....as my launch site is made of (talcum powder like dust) clay/dirt & tuffts of crappy Buffell Grass. It's sucks when you land & your wing goes right into the bull-dust. I try to spot land my wing on my tarp....sometimes I get it, (see my videos) & sometimes I don't. But you my friend, have the best launch & landing sites ever! - P.S. Thanks for your videos, they are assisting my progress greatly.
Great video Tucker! Please explain about FAA part 103, if you can, airspace in specific and how does it affects you as a paramotor pilot. Keep 'em coming :)
Tutorials are awesome! Thanks for making these, the more the better :)
Definitely love the tutorials. You've already inspired me, now time to teach me!
Yes teach me everything you know! I really appreciate the tutorials in detail. A little curious as to how strong those little strings are! ? Keep them coming please
Ya Man !!! That was awesome. You would make a great instructor if you are not already. Great tutorial, keep up the great work.
Looks like you're having a heap of fun! I must try this PPG thing sometime.
Love your lessons bro, keep up the good work!
nice tutorial. keep em coming, us newbies need all the help we can get
my new favourite channel. Pappa bless.
Kognitif is such an underrated artist
you are going to be a pretty big youtuber soon i can tell glad i get to watch the channel grow :)
As a newbie (30 flights) really enjoy your vids. I have one suggestion, is it possible to mount a GoPro on the top of the cage behind your head facing forward to show your whole upper body? That way us new guys can get a clear view of what you are doing, body and hand movements etc. Just trying to absorb as much knowledge from these vids as possible. Keep up the great work! 👍
You make it look easy Tucker!
Another great video tucker! can you do one showing us (the noobies) how to practice sharp turns, zig zag, etc? thanks!
Awesome vid! Would love to see more tutorial style vids. I'm at 65 flights on a Universal and kinda timid with playing with trims. A vid all about trim settings for different situations would be cool. Thanks and keep it up! Soon we will all be watching ads before your vids.
excellent flying man. ya, cool tutorial. Practice makes perfect.
i love the music you use and that you put it up on where to find it!!! thank you
not only does he do barrel rolls in a motorized parachute but he does it a little bit high. the absolute madman
Great new sport and videos. Just wondering if you ever came within visual range of any aircraft flying close to your altitude when you fly the higher altitudes?.
Was just doing some initial research on PPG and stumbled onto your channel. Good stuff man and congrats on Icarus. Subbed. Hoping to be a fellow pilot next year. Cheers
Awesome... but I'm mad at you now cause you made me love this so much now I've got to go out and get myself into this too!!
It was Amazing,Thank you so much for all yours videos!!!
tony moran oo
Nice video! I free fly in the valleys of south Wales UK, wouldn't mind trying out a para-motor for those nil wind days!
Ive been watching your Videos and have thought hard about getting into Paramotor im an old fart here ( Im 48) and love flight, I grew up flying with my father every weekend as a child we had a Cessna plane and i never got my Pilots License but did and do fly R/C Airplanes and Helis and have been watching your Vids for the last few weeks here on RUclips and you have inspired me to get into Paramotors but its gonna be a money thing so hopefully one day I can afford it 10 Gs is a bit expensive for a Paramotor set up and schooling. I have a school really close to me here in So. Cal so Yah it might be a thing soon Thanx Tucker
Thanks. Love the tutorial stuff. Keep it up.
You've inspired me to want to try this! Such awesome videos dude!
I like the tutorial nature oft his one, keep 'em coming. Like whatshisname said, I love when a new video is in my feed.
I wish I could afford one of those it looks AWESOME
This was fantastic! Thank you Tucker.
Very helpful..and entertaining at the same time.
