Yet he says it's a British bike like hundred times in the video, when clearly Royal Enfield is now an Indian company, an Indian pride at that.😂
How hard it is to acknowledge that, Western population just don't want to acknowledge.

Hi, I'm a Royal Enfield enthusiast and RE is testing 2 more models on the 650 cc platform. One's a roadster and the other is a cruiser. Probably one of them is equipped with upside down forks- the first on a RE. Rumours predict that a 650 Himalayan is in the pipeline as well. Good efforts on RE's part.

Overall, a pretty good review. But, I suggest "inexpensive" vs. "cheap" when talking about price. Also, it is hard to praise the price point, and then turn around and itemize all the ways the bike could be better. Adequate components is what determines the price point of the machine.

@@mookins45 I had same kind of issues my engine had to be rebuilt after 12 months and I met two other guys who had the same issue . One guys was replaced 6 months after he bought his dievel 1200 ,other guy full rebuild. Mine was half the engine multistrada enduro 1200. When I picked up my bike 3 months later on the opposite coast of where I live ,the mechanic brought in a sports bike and it had no engine. He said they were replacing it same issues like mine. My bike never ran right again broke down after two weeks another 3 months in the shop then broke down 2 days after I got it back ,down another few months ,got it back and broke down 3rd day, bike ran 20 days out of 9 months . That was my second year of ownership. Had to sell it on the side of the road after last brake down to a used bike shop rent a car and drive home 1500 miles.
I was on a tour year tour of North America that basically ended after 12 months or so when the engine went .
They refused to buy it back or replace it .

@@mookins45 they asked me to sign some shit because I posted a pic of the bike with only one cylinder running 2 weeks after the engine rebuild . They were going to give me a rally suit and that was supposed to be my compensation for destroying my once in a lifetime tour. I told them to fuck off.

Here in india, 4 lakh rupees (4800 usd) is a very huge amount for a bike for an avg. person... and this bike is not considered value for money in india 😂😂 because royal enfield classic bullet 350 and meteor 350 are very cheap compared to this hike almost half of it's price and are great bikes...

You know, if this was set up just the way this is but in a 12 or a 1400cc version, no question that I would buy one. I've ridden 650s and 900s. They're just not big enough to get the job done over here in the U.S. I do like these a lot though. Very well made and they don't have those damn LEDs. Again, the handlebars are too short and low.

    • @sumitmukherjee9103

not British anymore.. ? It hasn't been for 26 years...and the facilities in India have been making enfield & all parts from 1955-60. Does that make sense ? sensed a bit of superiority tones there. Basically its a cheap bike but not cheaply made delivering a value product. They can put in all bells and whistles but then it loses the charm and will not be able to compete at enhanced price points of established manufacturers. Most bikes are made for value conscious Indian buyers where the company can sell in numbers which is generally 5-6k max
