- In this episode of the SimplePlanes tutorial series, we talk about jet engines along with the key aspects used when designing one. Leave feedback in the comments along with recommendations on what to include in the next installment. The current plan is to go over fuselage blocks.

Update: Part 3 is now live, a year and a half overdue. You can find it here! - ruclips.net/video/9GVy-oPSVPo/видео.html
Ah, just what i needed.
As a WW2 fan, i mostly designed propeller planes, and I only recently started doing jets.
Making props can be quite fun as there are a ton of ways to manipulate the parts into an incredible aesthetic. If you enjoyed this one, I discuss some of these better techniques in Part 3, up to you though. Thanks for watchin!
@@covenantslayergaming6362 I'll make sure to watch that one too.
I'd be also glad to see a vid about Flying Wing designs.
It's really hard to make those work.
Flying wings.. I have that whole concept down in KSP but doing it in Simpleplanes? Challenge accepted... Once I can get back to making content. If I forget about this then feel free to page me but I've added it to the list!
@@covenantslayergaming6362 easy, just size the vertical stabilizer to 0,0,0
@@BlueRGuy yeah, but that ruins the challenge! ;)
Tank you this will help me!!!
Wow im learning in simpleplanes
Always something new :)
Simple planes is great for feeling out the basics of aircraft development!
how to increase the throttle in simple planes because i have the game in
my pc
Should be shift and left control on your keyboard. Otherwise, perhaps consult the keybind settings? I also play SP on PC, one of the best ways to play in my humble opinion.
My plane keeps turning to the left every time I try and take off help please
Check your center of mass and center of lift. You may find that the center of lift is unbalanced and skewed off center of where you want it to be, causing disproportionate lift and subsequent spinning. Alternatively, see if landing gear or other pieces are getting some weird collisions with any other parts. Lemme know if that helps!
I think you need a tutorial!! The biggest mistake you can make is not to build with fuselages
I'm getting to that. These are solely the basics, with each video getting more and more advanced. The next episode will be on fuselages, and the one after that about fuselage wings and light XML editing. If you skip to the end text, the footage there is of a plane I recently made from scratch. Episodes 1 and 2 both focused primarily on balancing the COL and COM, as well as the different types of propulsions. I don't like building with blocks, but I tried to keep the beginnings simple.
Oh...okay. Well sorry then.
@@neandertaler4154 No hard feelings. Thanks for the feedback though :)
How to make engine more louder
To be honest, I have yet to find a way. Once I get some time I plan to work on part 4 which discussed a wee bit of editing but even through XML I have yet to find a way to change engine volume.
