This park looks great!Italy Knows how to build good parks!Yes They don't have many and there parks are quite small but the quality of the rides...the theming....the through puts it's all brilliant!

Where you said a wooden coaster would go well now there is Italy's only flying theatre, it isn't a thrill ride but it's a cool experience that I would definetly re-experience

I love looking around old submarines and ships. My favourite submarine I've been to is the one that is at the science museum in Paris and my favourite ship is the one in the transport museum in Glasgow. I love walking through the small doors and seeing old machinery
The elephant drop tower theming has to have been some of the inspiration for Croc-Drop!

This looks a loverly park with some great theming and good rides, especially Colossus mk2.
That said it really needs more new stuff as there's barely enough things a few hours from what's there, but let's hope something exciting happens soon.
Love it when I find a park volg that I haven’t watched yet!! This park looks cool, theming looking amazing however is patchy. Would love to get out there someday!

The mist effect part actually is kind of genius yet simple in Darkmare.
It is projected upwards but instead of mist it's actually a really fine net

Definately agree with your comment about taller people struggling with colossus restraints, me and my brother both had cramp in our legs after the ride when we went the other week. I would also struggle with finding something to eat as my fussiness with food is ridiculous sonwould definately take my own for this park when i eventually go to the park.
Would love to get out there myself to try the water rides, they look awesome

Great vlog as per usual! Always interesting to see your views on all these parks. I'm glad to see you enjoyed this place, I actually visited last year with a group (CoasterForce) and I thought it was nice. It's a shame to still see how quiet it is, it was the last week of June on a blazing hot day when I went and it was completely dead, perhaps even quieter than your visit.
That said, I loved it all. Park management gave us a tour and they're great genuine guys - basically enthusiasts - so I trust they'll make some good investments. I do think the park needs another thrill flat like a giant pendulum ride and another family coaster, perhaps a woody like you suggested. What else do you think it needs?
It's not a full-day park yet but definitely a park to keep an eye on!

Some beautiful themes but, the park, looks really small and not much offer for a complete day. That ending music.... Y_Y It reminds me all italian parks.. hahaha

Im so excited, Im going in July!!!! My only complaint is that they could've added a helix on the 10 inversions coaster. but whats altars theme?

This year they've added a ton of things for the 2017 season!
They changed the viability in the park, making the main circular path that goes around the park one-way, kind of forcing you to go through the main themed areas
They've got two new VR attractions. one is more of an interactive game based on War of Worlds and the other being a Labyrinth kind of thing. They've got a new horror house, some say it's too short though.
They've got new bumper cars in the Far West area, always welcomed additions.
Best of all, the set used for the Chariot race in the new Ben Hur reboot, which is built less than a mile away from the park, is now open to the public, and you get to ride a legit chariot that goes around the arena.
So, yeah. The park is making improvements! Can't wait for you to go back!

See, Italy's got the right idea. Looping coasters that aren't inverted or floorless don't need shoulder restraints. Schwarzkopf proved a long time ago that a lap bar will suffice, and centrifugal force takes care of the rest. The minute you slap horsecollars on a regular sit-down looper, you're immediately replacing fun with pain. Just look at Arrow or Vekoma.

Kumba is the exception, it is a standard looping coaster with harnesses and it is really smooth

The theme-ing is all based around film sets, since it was built on the old Dino De Laurentiis studios

I saw on their website that they've added quite a number of attractions since 2016, yet their ticket price is only 24 Euros... That seems like a really good deal now.

I would have loved it if Colossus had lap bars instead of shoulders restraints. It'd replace the headbanging with freedom which would be much more fun.

Visitors enter Cinecittà World through the jaws of the Temple of Moloch, seen in Cabiria, a silent movie filmed in Turin in 1914. The theme park also features a recreation of 1920s-era Manhattan as envisioned by Ferretti."

I saw Altair and thought of Colossus but I never realised that it was that similar to the ride until I saw the on ride footage, it is virtually a clone!!
Are the lapbars on altair similar to shambala? never done an inverted with lap bar

on the nightmare dark ride they would have used a very thin fog to project the imige on to like pirates of the carabean at universal

What's your 10 out of 10 coaster
Just a question. I've never really been on the bigger roller coasters I have been on the ultimate and that's about it, inversions scare me a bit but I'm willing to try one out, which coaster do u reccomend in which park - light water valley, Alton towers or flamingo land?x
I would say Alton towers. There they have a variety of coasters and think some are more thrilling than others, like galactica and air aren't as intense as nemesis and oblivion so I would say that's a great park to get into upside down rides at
If you want to get into coasters, definitely Flamingo Land. Once you're comfortable with them and fancy some more intense ones, Alton Towers. Want flat rides? Lightwater Valley.
strange that they dont use a boat from the time off the roman empire instead off a pirate ship on the splash

Poor Shawn, getting locked up in Italian theme park jail! I believe that the kids area needs to be improved. They should add some new facades to the buildings, and add a few more rides. I could see a Disc'o Coaster going into the kids area so that the older ones have something to do while the kids ride their rides. I could also see a nice interactive dark ride also go into the park. I could also see something like an indoor or outdoor S&S El Loco Coaster with a nice soundtrack. I also do think that a woodie would fit well into the western area.

Besides the submarine employee and Altair I think Rainbow MagicLand is far ahead. They need to get way more attractions!
***** How am I not giving it a chance? I'm just saying that if they want to be a successful park being able to compete with the other parks in Italy and Europe, it'll need to get more attractions. Preferably many rides that fill up the area and make it feel more alive but another coaster would be neat too.
Rainbow MagicLand just seems better as it has got the park ambience which is absent in Cinnecittà World, this might indeed be the age, but the lack of flat rides makes me think this might be the reason for so.
***** Yeah I think they need to hurry up with new attractions. This by atleast bringing one new flat ride to the park each year. quite drastic, but I think it'll help, especially if they put a marketing campaign around it. I might've been too harsh, as both parks probably won't REALLY fill a day, you'll end up just doing some things here and there, but out of the two I prefer Rainbow MagicLand at the moment.

Those kids talking through the entire Darkmare ride..
Show were better last year. with stunt show in aktium, stunt show with horses in west area, stunt show in Main street. and a impressive project mapping show inside the theatre. I hope they will improve in the future

Cinecitta Studios dates back to the fascist era of Italy unfortunately, but it was also there post that and for the golden age of Italian cinema. The sets have a lot of history, but they've been used in Doctor Who, Rome and war movies. Basically anytime a movie or a TV show needs a German U-boat or a Soviet sub or Ancient Rome or Pompeii or the Vatican that's where they'll film it.
