A little tip: install a few fans on the ceiling which push the hair down to the floor when drying the fur, the same principle is used by painters for cars. So no hairs fly around in the air and the cleaning is easier.

You could get "onion goggles" for the problem with hair in your eyes. They are just like regular pair of small safety goggles (mine are shaped like those oval oakley's) with foam that makes contact with your skin all the way around your eyes. Keeps stuff out really well. I use them when processing a spice that I make.

I've seen one dog groomer use a beekeepers hood to protect their eyes and face, so you aren't wrong to wear a mask. In fact, you could definitely wear MORE protection.

Very handsome after the grooming he is gonna be a hit with the ladies in the park. Looks like a brand new happy buddy :) even pets feel happy when they are pampered. My Tobey that was our best time ever. That's when he knew how I loved him. Bath time was bonding time. Love and appreciation. They put a fight at first but live it in the end :)

I'm a chapstick freak and I remember always applying chapstick during grooming school. Then I would dry a dog and end up with furry lips 💋 ! Lol so ridiculous 😂...he's a handsome boy, he looked so happy when he was done. I'm sure he's feeling good.🧡💛💚💙
I recommend wearing some kind of goggles that will completely protect your eyes...that looks like a nightmare

I love how people are asking why you are wearing the mask and forgetting that the mask was not only invented for the pandemic lol. People, we have been using masks for other things since we can remember! Hahahaha
I know some groomers use a beekeeper headgear type of thing. Maybe you can try it out?

Oh my God all that floof flying everywhere. My friend asked me to groom her dogs at my apartment and I said no. She has 2 verry fluffy dogs that I think are shepherd golden retriever mixes. I showed this video as an example of why I said no.

What a beautiful dog and you make him look so much better! I saw another groomer that uses a Bee Keepers hat/net to keep the flying fur out of her hair/eyes/nose....face. Just another idea for those wonderfully floofy dogs.

I’m not a dog owner, and I don’t know about grooming. Just wanna ask, is it possible to use some kind of vaccuum cleaner to remove the undercoat? Just to avoid the furs flying everywhere.

I only groom my 3 girls (1 schnoodle, 1 shih tsu, 1 bishon) all 3 under 20lbs, and never thought to wear a mask. They don’t even shed close to how much this dog did. My face itches the rest of the day after grooming. I will absolutely try a mask next time I groom. Thank you!
