Dan got a lot of flak from people for doing this song, anti-American. He released an "apology "video. He stated that he wants 1 million subscribers but he's not willing to give up his balls for it and flipped them off. He speaks his mind. I do admire him for that.❤

I am not an American, but I have always appreciated the American and Canadian armies for their liberation of our country during WWII. The American national anthem always makes me emotional because of that. So, I do want to thank you for your service, simply because I can’t thank the men that were here during WWII. Second, sorry that last note was cut off. Other than that I enjoyed your reaction to both Amazing Grace and this. Dan’s apology is just the best LOL. Hail Vasc-Nation!!

I never learned the true meaning & never did my kids. Until I saw the link I posted here. Military people give sooooo much & nobody realizes it. Having been a Navy wife, I cried at the true meaning of our anthem. Same as I did to true meaning to Amazing Grace.

If you listen through his entire catalog on his YT channel, you might not think so, unless you realize what at least 98% of his songs are ABOUT, and the themes that he generally chooses. There are a few on the channel, that aren't to my taste, but out of the 242 videos presently posted there, those few are only five that I can think of. I THINK I've seen everything there, now, but I'm still spending a LOT of time seeing most of them over and over. While doing that, I have discovered some of the "secrets" that he's been pointing out, in most of them. When you listen to most of his exiting comments, and listen to him telling us all that he's all about POWER, and VICTORY, and to have an EPIC day, it's truly a blessing. 😀

Dan is an amazing artist that has trained his voice for years to get to where he is now. I discovered Dan when he released Amazing Grace and I have listened to all his music. Seriously, it is all awesome! I blare it while I'm in my office, I blare it when I'm driving...lol I just love him and I love seeing other people discover him.
Lol, me too, I head Amazing Grace and could not believe it. I said, "Wow, I have to hear more. And I have been hooked ever since 😂. I know it's selfish, but if he had a big contract, he would not be able or have time to sing what he does now. And we would miss that part. On the other hand, WHAT THE HELL DUDES? This man deserves a music contract, and I mean a damn good one. He is great, he can sing all kinds of music. He's better than a whole lot I have heard in the past.

I love Dan's version of our National Anthem and also his "apology" video to the anti-America haters. His is the first version since Madison Rising's Star Spangled Banner that has captivated me the same way. If anybody has not heard that one, it's definitely worth your time, too. Dave Bray is a Navy Veteran & puts his heart into that one, as well. The thing that really touches my heart about Dan's, in addition to just loving his voice, is that he sang our Anthem with that kind of passion while being from Brazil and all as an homage to our country for our Independence Day. The more I hear from and know of Dan Vasc, the more I admire, respect, and appreciate him.

Take a listen to an old Marine (Viking) song Dan covered: “My Mother Told Me”. He does his own six part harmony and his low register vocal fry sounds incredibly similar to Tuvan throat singing. Speaking of which you might like “The Hu” singing Wolf Totem. It’s quite the battle song too! I subbed today after seeing your reaction to Dan’s Amazing Grace.
Wonderful reaction. Everything on Dan's channel is great, but you might really enjoy his cover of "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Disney's Mulan. If you're unfamiliar with the song, it's from the point of view of a sort of Drill Sergeant character who has to get his troops in shape. Of course, Dan puts his own twist on it.

He is such a fantastic singer. He can take a song, add some spice to it; but keep it still recognizable to each of us. Most of his versions end up with me thinking, that was how it should have been done by the original singer!
I was so blown away by Dan's version of Amazing Grace I played it over and over. Vocal masterpiece! ❤❤❤❤ I am now hooked on watching and listening to all his covers, especially the American bands I grew up on! Exquisite voice.

He's an unabashed admirer of the United States and apparently got some flack for doing this probably from some of his fellow countrymen. That ending is awesome as well. Listen again as you cut it off and miss the impact of his huff and the eagle scream. Lol yeah, it makes this American grandmother of a soldier feel it for sure.
Daughter, ex-wife, mother, and grandmother to military personnel in our current family line, with a TON of soldiers all the back to Europe and Great Britain, in our history. This is my very favorite version of the anthem, even though we have many singers in our own family who have done GREAT renditions of it. The heart that Dan puts into it is just fantastic!

When a non-native person can sing The Star Spangled Banner with that level of enthusiasm, I believe he should become a citizen !!! We don't see the MILLIONS of illegal immigrants showing ANY gratitude or pride in this country!

Yes, other reactors also miss the last "hu" and fist jab along with the eagle call after the song proper is over because they either turn away, start talking or stop the video too soon. Coming from Dan, a Brazilian it was a further tribute and nice shout out to America. I loved that! My great respect to Dan and his courageous tribute to the USA. Dan also did a video responding to the USA haters out there who didn't like his tribute. An "apology"? You have to see it.

Also…you’ve probably fixed the issue by now, but part of why I like to watch reaction channels is to see the face of the person who is doing the reacting. Your face either wasn’t visible or was partially blocked sometimes, especially near the of the video. 😢
