I'm a Pastor, and I absolutely adore Dan's rendition of every Christian Hymn, as well as, his performances, in general...
And I have shared them with many of my friends of Faith, regardless of their Religious beliefs.
While I was listening to Dan's rendition, I was thinking of how he would blow it out of the park, and how nice it would be, if he could sing it overlooking The Harbor from Fort McHenry on July 4th !

I attended Christmas Eve service one year with my daughter whom has autism. We sang Silent Night together, us holding our candles, her face beaming with joy brighter than the candlelight! Sometimes she'd be in perfect tune, sometimes not, but people closest to us gave her unkind looks. She probably didn't understand but God did. Own who you are!!!
