As a Brazilian, he pays tribute to a different democracy Respect and in his “apology” he has a clear stance. I wish there were more people like that! Dan's version gives this Brit goosebumps. I'm 72 and have heard this sung by anyone and everyone (loved Meat Loaf's version) but Dan as a Brazilian puts so much power and passion into it... listen to it every 4th July now.. Have an epic day.

American Rock version goes to Madison Rising's version. No longer together, but lead singer (Dave Bray) is a veteran, Christian, & can really belt this out with some added patriotic lines as a warning to any enemies. Last mentioned, but in no way least, our Dan Vasc's homage. Dan's got more love for this country than some actual American citizens these days. Love his character, personality (sense of humor), & his amazing voice. Happy 4th of July celebration to all! 🇺🇸

This is my favorite version of The Star Spangled Banner too! I love his apology and I also agree with everything he said. I hate when people are mean or nasty on any comments they make to performers or reactors.....everyone is entitled to their own opinions and not everyone likes the same kinds of music, singers or bands. I'm a metal and rock girl, but I don't put people down for liking other types of music, to each his own. Thanks for your great reaction and rock on!!!
