To all you lovely people in the world,live in peace and love with your families,neighbors and even your worse enemies.Don’t hold grudges,malice in your hearts or hatred for others especially your family and even the ones you don’t know.We must forgive each other forget what happened between you and the person and make peace before it’s too late.I never had a father figure and, right now I wish I had the chance to tell that I forgive for not being there for me when i needed him because,he died without knowing that I’ve forgiven him and,i wasn’t there when he died.He has beautiful grandchildren he haven’t seen.May his soul rest in peace.My dear if your father is still alive,I think now is the time to make peace with your father and,that goes to anyone make peace because one day you will wake up and there are no more.

I think this song is a direct reference to what is happening in the world right now, not just in the US but also in other countries, japan included. "Clip his wings, he don't deserve the halo I'm losing faith in everyone again If the TV stations sell their lies on cable Then we're so blind that we'll be tuning in But I don't know where to start" i think this is reference to politicians (any, anywhere) using the media to sell their lies to people, trying to control you, so he is losing faith in humanity (for electing those politicians [clips his wings, he don't deserve the halo]). but he still picks his pieces up from the ground he was trhown to and stands up again. Ultimately, it's about resistance. Of course this is my reading and art is always subjective, unless the band gives a detailed explanation of the lyrics.
