Every cop should NOT engage (multiple times) in polite discussion with offenders. Do NOT answer any offender stalling tactic, simply state what you need to state, then act. I have seen many 20 minute 'discussions' which always end the same way. Any refusals to correctly respond, threaten window breakage, then, DO IT ! do NOT repeat threats (often up to and above 20 times) state the rules, then get on with it. Practice with a 'normal' honest driver and take action if the response is incorrect. loads of time will be saved and miscreants will soon get the hang of it. Proper zero tolerance. Tolerance is not required when dealing with 'normal', honest citizens.
From "Get out of the car" to breaking windows in 44 seconds. Do you think that was enough time to deescalate the situation or do you think these cops need to go to de-escalation training?
Here's what I don't get.... I was raised against cops my dad was a hells Angel and we are basically taught that cops were dangerous they would take you away and they would put you somewhere where you'd never see your family again and we are taught not to talk to cops a bunch of s*** I'm not going to go into that but me myself I have multiple felonies I have multiple charges in general I literally have been arrested over two dozen times but one thing my daddy also taught me was if you do something own up to it and if you didn't fight it to your last breath so knowing that I would go to jail I have always been honest with cops cuz that's just the name of the game you get caught you go to jail deal with it those are the choices you made so if you want to partake in behavior that you know ahead of time is illegal and you could FaceTime for you should be willing to do the time when you make that decision..... Now despite how I was raised I've actually had a few cops saved my life literally cut me down from a tree while I was hanging so I have developed a different view of cops now and I actually see them as people so what I don't get is what happened to f****** decency and respect just because these people wear a badge and enforce a law that you have the right to break if you want that is your right but like our parents taught us there's consequences for all of our actions what's with all the disrespect why call them pigs if it's okay to call them pigs then is it okay for me to call you the n word or call you a the C word? No that's not okay and I'm talking to this Julian guy when I say this if it's not okay for me to use slurs towards you why is it okay for you to use slurs towards them?
I see your points and agree.. I’ll say this.. just like not all people are bad.. not all cops are bad.. I’m covered in tattoos.. I have been arrested a few times.. I became a cop.. there are bad cops, just like there are bad lawyers, bad dr’s, bad preachers.. but you don’t lump it all together. I agree own up to your shit if you did it.. cops are just doing a job that very few want to do anymore.. it’s fucking sad.. so I’ve been on both sides, I’ve done both.
