People who lie to emergency services & try to waste resources drive me nuts! Had a rude abusive guy in his 20’scall the ambulance recently & ask for us to call his grandma because he had a flat tyre & had no credit on his phone. We advised him we’re an emergency service & even gave him a free number to call to a roadside service company. He rang back 3 times & became more abusive each time (because he knew he was doing the wrong thing). Then he pretended he’d actually been in a car accident & someone else had smashed his car & run away (he was obviously drunk driving), obviously hoping to get an ambulance there quickly to get a ride. Because we have to err on the side of caution in case he did happen to be in an accident, the police, fire & ambulance had to go. The police arrived first & oddly enough couldn’t find him 🤣😂😆 He obviously didn’t think through the fact that the cops would be coming too & bolted when he saw them 🤷♀️ Hope he had a good walk home & his grandma takes his car away from him.

COOPERATE! I was pulled over once for speeding. 3 am on the interstate trying to see how fast my new IROC-Z would go (this was back around 1989). I did not know that a HP was pacing behind me. Somewhere north of 130, his lights come on and I pull over. I knew I was screwed. He asked me, "Do you know why I pulled you over?" I said, "I sure do." He said, "Do you know how fast you were going?" I said, "I don't know for sure. At least 130, and then your flashing lights made it hard to read the speedo." He laughed and said, "Because you're honest, I'm letting you go with a warning, okay?" I said, "Are you serious?" He said, "You don't know how rare you honest people are, and I appreciate it."
Funny because normally they just want an admission of guilt so you can’t get a reduction or get out of it in court. Or at the very least have less wiggle room. I was honest with cops all growing up and never got a break. It wasn’t until my late 20s where interactions with cops became reasonable.

I am really glad there are body and car cameras, it keeps the stories true and gives the boys and girls in blue a fighting chance against any false accusations.
Yep nothing worse than people breaking the law using the law to break it even more with false accusations. See how this sentence is messed up? But that's what goes on in their little heads.

@@allisonjames2923 reminds me of the guy that called in with a whole story of a missing child left on a bus because while taking a smoke break at a rest stop, the bus pulled off without him.
That’s alright. I had a similar run in with em and it sure encouraged me to slow down. Take care
Funny because normally they just want an admission of guilt so you can’t get a reduction or get out of it in court. Or at the very least have less wiggle room. I was honest with cops all growing up and never got a break. It wasn’t until my late 20s where interactions with cops became reasonable.

She doesn't seem to know the difference between "not doing anything" and "clearly breaking multiple laws", so I won't hold my breath.
I don't see why he decided to cuff her at that time in the first place. It was the opposite of de-escalation. You have to be a bit tactful when applying physical restraint to a human being, she was nowhere near requiring that at the time that he initiated it. She might have ended up being bratty anyways, but that unnecessary confrontation was a sure fire way to stir some shit up. Operator error.
