After anastomotic uroplasty done on jan 28th...on feb 22nd doc checked for calibration and he told me that i hv prostate obstruction and prescribed alfoo to take from that day. Everything is fine but why for 15 days its good flow and suddenly for 4to 5 days it dips and then it increases. Is this normal and this is how prostate behaves?plzzz kindly clarify

I urge anyone with BPH to educate themselves about the miracle of PAE and find if they are a candidate. It is definitely the wiser choice of prostate repair.
It is true that PAE procedure is a very advanced and effective procedure. However, there are factors that do determine if a patient is a good candidate for PAE. PAE may not be as effective as TURP when it comes to very large prostates. PAE also happens to be a little more expensive that TURP. But as we are able to make it more popular, the cost should decrease.
Ideally, you should not have to use your muscles to force urine out. At the age of 22, it is highly unlikely that an enlarged prostate may be the cause for this. It is best to consult a urologist to have this diagnosed.

you need surgery with a 63 gram prostate, max is 100grams
The best you could do is a Prostate Embolization. It is the best and less invasive surgery.
