Port Orange Police Department recived this chilling 911 call In the early hours of 12th August 2015. Just two miles from the dock, a local fisherman reported a body floating face down, naked from the waist up.
When investigators arrived at the scene, they identified the body as that of Crystal Caralea Pifer. What seemed like a tragic accident at first, but little did anyone one know this would quickly spiral into a well documented gruesome murder.

I experience something very similar to this. I had just launched my boat to go night fishing. I hear screaming and finally get close enough to see a woman in the river trying to get into a boat but the man on the boat was hitting at her with a paddle, not letting her back on. I hauled tail to them, let the man know I was armed and was taking her with me. I got her in the boat and took her back to the launch. She talked me out of calling the cops. She had a vehicle at the launch, got in and left. One of the craziest things I’ve ever seen. It was obviously “methed” up, if you know what I mean.

I love this channel; there is not too much AI, if any. Wow, this woman was beautiful. What an awful loser this man was. My condolences to her family.

Its sickening watching pathetic liars trying to act their way out of their murders.... especially when the cops leave the room and the idiots know they're being recorded on cctv...and cry crocodile tears for their innocent victims. The only reason they really cry real tears is cos they know they have been caught and are going to prison.

When a guy beats on you then you don't go back to him.

The fact she went back to the boat, even with what was going on, out of fear of them targetting the guy's disabled daughter is so sad.

5-10 minutes ago but you keep jumping into t5water to look for? Sounds weird. How many times could you jump in to look in that span of time or how long do you look?

These clowns always show their guilt by never asking if their "loved one" has been found. That should/would be the the FIRST THING outta their/my mouth but these idiots go right into the "I didnt do it, I'm not guilty" lies without a second thought.

It isn't the official one, but the state loves to have photos to use against people in court. Like, to prove lack of remorse.
Jury's really respond to that kind of characterization.

No one should stay with someone who beats them. She sounded like wonderful person, risking her own life to protect the man's daughter from the monster.

So let me get this straight ... A woman who is "not a very good swimmer" grabs boat keys in one hand, jumps into the water with a closed fist and swims 75 feet to another boat. Sounds like a story a kid would make up.

If I'm Thomas and the detectives start asking what really happened on that boat, I'd automatically go into flip out mode. Yet he doesn't. A truly innocent person would never allow ANYONE to start making accusations and remain as calm as he did.

He should have stopped talking. But then he would look guilty. And being guilty, he sure didn’t want to look guilty. So he thought he could just talk his way out and explain away all the suspicions of these detectives. They did tree work, and maybe she got hit in the head by a branch a few dozen times. So he talked himself into a life sentence.
