I can't wait for the animated series to premiere. It's better than nothing. At least we have Matt Ryan to voice the role of the character again. I just hope we get to see more of the live-action version in the Arrowverse, hopefully in next season's big crossover.

Actually, we might. Next season of Legends of Tomorrow is supposedly going to be tie-ing more into the NBC series going forward. To me its a no-brainer, Manny, Papa Midnight and the Brujeria would make excellent villains for a Legends of Tomorrow season.
Because of the time slot that they put it in was not the best. Its not the first time they have done it. Its as if NBC set it to fail even before it started. Ok the show Constantine had some of the best CGI ever dispite being a supernatural fantasy(Grimm also had excellent CGI and storylines). Like I get how movies on supernatural things have excellent CGI done because of the time and money. But TV's that have do magic or supernatural stuff have horrible CGI, so bad I gringe. Some have great stories lines but it's sad they can preform the plot well because of the lack of skill in the CGI. Constantine had an excellent plot and performance in my opinion. It's sad they cancelled the show. I truly loved it.

Kalor NBC Canceled it bc the ratings weren't high enough to justify the CGI and licensing expenses Earlier this year The CW picked up the rights to Constantine and will make an animated season 2 in the fall along with its other Arrowverse television shows. If the ratings are high enough Constantine will be moved to the Legends team and maybe get another live action seasin after it.

Sage Argento Lucifer in the comics that this show is based on has not lost his powers. he's neither good, or evil and is in fact on earth in the comics. either way he could have just done a bait and switch, given constantine a different stone and taken the guy to his headquaters while making a convincing light show, lucifer is capable of that in the comics and it lends well to his title as the deceiver in the show.

I know that various plot-elements from Constantine have been revisited & explored i.e. Astra Logue, Jim Corrigan and the idea of Hell being unleashed on Earth (like you said in Season 4 of Legends)... But I still wonder if we’ll ever get a clear resolution to what happened to the likes of Zed, Chas, Manny etc.

Arrowverse Constantine had his moments, but it has too much flashing spells and him fighting alongside cats and puppets which ruins him. it should be a self-containted universe which could cross with the likes of Swamp Thing, Sandman, Lucifer (comic-one)

Earlier this year The CW picked up the rights to Constantine and will make an animated season 2 in the fall along with its other Arrowverse television shows. If the ratings are high enough Constantine will be moved to the Legends team and maybe get another live action seasin after it.
@@samuelketner1391 CW couldn't continue the Constantine series because the tone is too dark. It doesn't fit in the Arrowverse. They did the next best thing: use Constantine character as the main male lead in Legends of Tomorrow.

Sage Argento Lucifer in the comics that this show is based on has not lost his powers. he's neither good, or evil and is in fact on earth in the comics. either way he could have just done a bait and switch, given constantine a different stone and taken the guy to his headquaters while making a convincing light show, lucifer is capable of that in the comics and it lends well to his title as the deceiver in the show.

I wish Manny showed up at some point in Legends of Tomorrow. John was great in that show but it was so disconnected from his own show , at times it felt kinda weird. Also it’s cool seeing how much better he got with the voice in Legends compared to how it was here.

I've wondered if Manny is just an alias for Gabriel! :D He's always been a prickish thorn of an angel on John Constantine's side in both the comics and movie! :P Maybe perhaps Manny is testing John by leading the Brujeria so that he can become a stronger magican some time later in the future! :D And I was also hoping that if the show hadn't been canceled then we could the Great Darkness hence the name of The Brujeria's evil plan The Rising Darkness as well as more of Nergal and the First of the Fallen! :D Maybe perhaps what I can do is ask the creators of the show to create a comic book series called Constantine Season 2 just like what they did with Smallvile Season 11! :D

I know that various plot-elements from Constantine have been revisited & explored i.e. Astra Logue, Jim Corrigan and the idea of Hell being unleashed on Earth (like you said in Season 4 of Legends)...
But I still wonder if we’ll ever get a clear resolution to what happened to the likes of Zed, Chas, Manny etc.

However, the rising darkness still intact. Old enemies remains & new enemies will rise in the future. So its sill its unknown what happen to Manny & the Brujeria threat.

Arrowverse Constantine had his moments, but it has too much flashing spells and him fighting alongside cats and puppets which ruins him. it should be a self-containted universe which could cross with the likes of Swamp Thing, Sandman, Lucifer (comic-one)
as it is, it's currently Constantine's only life line... perhaps post Crisis, he gets his own series again... one can hope...
