Musashimaru and Konishiki are the best! They're like rock stars in Hawaii and are so down to earth. Konishiki has lost a lot of weight since he retired
"Konishiki has lost a lot of weight since he retired...."

That kind of good and sad at the same time.
Bigness was part of his identity.
That was awesome! Thank you, Paul for this beautiful vlog. Please come back to Japan and stay longer. 🥰❤
hello how are you doing greetings from Paul Hollywood i hope you are having a wonderful weekend there
I can't believe such a quality show is made on youtube. thank you!
Musashimaru is Samoan, Konishiki is Hawaiian both are the legendary wrestlers. I didn't expect to see their current life and devotion in this channel.
I love how much respect Japan pays towards food.

I love this man...never a bad word and so natural...
As a person from Hawaii, it was great seeing these legendary sumo wrestlers from the 80s and 90s. If only Akebono could have made a guest appearance. . . WOW!
Growing up another sumo wrestler I admired was Chiyonofuji. I visited his stable on a high school trip and he almost ran me over twice coming out of side door. Very polite man. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

i think your next trip needs to be hawaii to find the history and food of akebono musashimaru and konishiki
5:45 🙆♂ "Maru. (Great.)" His gesture is so adorable, isn't it?
Mr. Paul Hollywood's demeanor is worthy of praising, for he is self-effacing, gracious, & polite. My kudos to him for his respectable behavior!!,,,,,,From California,,,,,,(12/12/22)

World first sports diet as science in the history, started in 1600s.
They had no idea in calories but they knew gaining weight had advantage for winning a bout.
So, they worked on what to eat, what to drink and what they should do to convert(mostly taking a nap after they ate) what they ate into the weight.
That strawberry is huge!!!
1 pack contains 6 of them and sold at 20000 yen.
And the owner was giving one of them free.
That comes to more than 3000 yen(>$30) for free trial.
How about that?
A deal you can't refuse.
The Green Tea Kit Kats are the best. I love them.

So he is a well-known chef in the UK?! I find him polite, respectable, & self-effacing. This doc. shows us to witness & perceive how different, intriguing, & even a bit enigmatic our planet is depending on the different region. At 7:02, that one rather large strawberry costing 50K yen, roughly $ 420 US dollars is amazingly staggering!!, but I can't help feeling ludicrous & unreasonable no matter how delicious it is, ( Later I found out these were to be usually exported to the Royal families of Saudi Arabia & other extraordinary wealthy people in the world.), & so was a tiny piece of that Kobe beef on the street of Osaka. I had to admit I felt overcome w/ acute nostalgia in my days in Japan. Thoroughly enjoyed & appreciated it. Many thanks to all concerned.,,,,(12/10/22)
This show is awesome!!🤣 Lucky him to come to Japan before COVID crisis👍✨

34:02 Love that crazy hair of Konishiki!
I have never ever thought I'd think of or even write this in my entire life but:
Right now I sincerely WISH I could have been a tastebud on Paul's tongue as he ate that Kobe Waigu. Absolutely no joke, no bs and no cap.
I absolutely will pay for that one 🍓 experience❤
I think I want to relocate to Japan
Best strawberry ever was the wild strawberry I found in my backyard when I was maybe 12. Somehow I go to it before the birds. Lucky! Unequaled.

Tvoje oduševljenje je zarazno. Sadimo jagode! A baš sam mislila krumpire!
My favorite strawberry never made it to the fields. Cornell University breed it, it was small, red thruout , juicy, extremely flavorful and scented..made excellent jams, jellies, shortcake . It did get named...Fletcher. and if anyone knows where I can get plants let me know..
hello how are you doing greetings from Paul Hollywood i hope you are having a wonderful weekend there
The Japanese strawberries are absolutely mega DELICIOUS!!!!!!!
Wow, Yuriko Kotani san !!!
This food documentary simply shows us to witness & perceive how different & intriguing our planet is depending on the regions. Besides, the fact that we could enjoy watching & appreciating it on RUclips for free is nothing but priceless & invaluable. Thank you to all concerned in the creation of this doc. such as those cameramen, sound men including the background music, editors, producers inclusive of a script writer & a narrator, & the rest of the crew.,,,,(12/18/22)
The strawberry man is adorable.
thank you Paul for the strawberry🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Great show! However, after watching the city bakes series I'm truly surprised you didn't visit Finland. I doubt there's a country with a more versatile bread assortment than Finland. Wheat, oats, rye, loaf, holebread, fluffy white bread, dark rye brea, sour bread, dry knäckebröd, bulle and all sorts of cakes and pastries.assortement

Send swedish strawberry and become millionare in Japan
Really crazy soba noodles eating competition.its makes me zero appetite after watching the excessive swollowing...haaaa
Funny, with such an obsession on food in Japan, and yet there are really very few Japanese who are overweight. Even the older folks are slim. Contrast that to Western countries.
