Cleveland Musicians and musicians and fans of Buddy came out to see and hear their idol. No matter when or where or what place Buddy was the man . His band was always great. Buddy hand picked those musicians. and man they always always made that big band sound great. Buddy also gave more than one hundred percent each and every time. So cool to hear drumming of this style. Man the legend sounds just as great today as he did back in l983. cool Cloudview. digging this.
The Cleveland Metropolitan Area - my old stomping ground as a kid! I was no longer there in the 80s, having moved out of state to go to college. But my father was there and went to many BR concerts. And my father was at Orange HS, just outside Cleveland, on December 10 1986 for Buddy's last performance with his band. 💜
