I’ve been a massive fan of yours for years Ruben. I’ve been in the game for near on ten years now and still learn little bits from you or just an explanation why some things are done a certain way. Mainly I come back to watch your show to keep me grounded and straighten myself out once in a while.

There are some people on RUclips that are just natural teachers, Ruben is one of them, even more impressive is he has become such a great educator even though his own education wasn't traditional. Thanks Ruben for sharing that info about your schooling.

I know thw feeling on the wall trimmers. My dad was selling his carpet tools mainly because he could't install carpet anymore. I even managed to get my hands on his old trimmer absolutely and i absolutely love it. Even got my hands on his old carpet top cutter that was made about 40 years ago definitely my go to.

I used to use the orcon row finders, but started using knitting needles about a year ago. There are many different sizes to choose from , they work well for different size naps. Plus they are cheap.

@@drawnbody51 but any way they last alot longer the the cutters you use. I can go for months without changing the blades.
