Listening on my iPad pro, the aurotones sounded very good. The yamahas sounded nasally; terrible sounding. Gives me the impression aurotones are better to use.
@@Studio3BRocks i have the avantone passive mixcubes. I have wondered if the new aurotones are better for mixing than the mixcubes. Not a whole lot of comparisons around though…
@@georgecain123I've read reviews like the one in SOS that said the avantones are better for the midrange than the reissue auratones. But maybe that person was just used to the avantones. However, I read that several times so far as I was also wondering the same thing.

Auratones are excellent if you don’t need bass or shimmer.

@@georgecain123 I’ve heard good things about both. The avantones however might be slightly more forgiving and wider range audio.
