Just for anyone wondering, the 3 metal prongs go to the "inside" of the guides. Not on the outside. FYI ;)

On Spyder mirrors the lower glass will break no matter what upon removal.
The upper you must support well and pray. Boost mirrors are the only way to go.
Boost has the good quality mirrors you need! All of our glass snaps off.
is there anyway to tell which mirrors have snap-off lower glass?
You can tilt the glass all the way down and look to see if there is a snap mechanism or ball socket (non-removable) mechanism
Want best towing mirrors for my 2015 tahoe LTZ with blind spot detection.
Hi John,
We don't currently offer tow mirrors for your 2015 Tahoe. I'll let the team know about your interest to see if we can offer it in the future.
Thanks!
Do you know where I can find aftermarket amber signal light for the tow mirrors on my 2004 Silverado?

Can you add a turn signal mirror into a not turn signal mirror. Or if it doesn’t come with the blinker on the mirror you just won’t have that feature?
All of our mirror assemblies come with the turn signal on the glass. If your mirrors are not from us you may be able to upgrade and add the feature using our glass if you are handy, but we don't have a video showing how this is done.
Boost Auto Parts okay! I was wanting to add them to it. Thank you!
Boost Auto Parts how would you add the light for the blinker or the front mirror let reflects enough for it to go off? Or do you have to add one?
@@dakotasoutdooranddieseladv936 You have to purchase glass with the integrated signal and then splice it in
Is a 2012 a snap in style or a push up latch for the larger upper mirror?
It depends if you have OEM or aftermarket mirrors. Contact support@boostautoparts.com and our team can further assist

for anyone who lost the cup mount that goes between the mirror mount and screw and washer. instead of paying 28 bucks more to buy a new one. on top of the 28 they selling their mirror glass for ( :/ Grrrrr ) i made my own worked great. been driving for a week now everyday now hasn't moved at all. buy you a baby snot sucker thing. cut it right on the line on the in the middle of the thing it has a line that goes all the way around cut on it on the sucker side, go all around make it even because that side will be for your star washer and screw. then on the round part that fits just right in the window mount cut a hold in the middle so the screwin plastic stick sticks through. works great buy one at green tree if they don't have any buy some where else.
I purchased ECCPP Tow mirrors for my 2001 Chevy Silverado HD but the wire harnesses on the mirrors are diferent from my truck. Does anyone know where to buy the wire harness adapters that has wires to control the mirror movement, the turn signals and running lights ?? I haven't yet seen any videos explaining what to do if the wire harnesses were different for the original factory harnesses.
It sounds like you have mirrors for the wrong year; you will need to get mirrors that are correct for your year. We offer those mirrors here: boostautoparts.com/products/1999-2002-tow-gm-mirrors
