  • A compilation of clips taken at OLEM from a February half term ringing outing to Cambridge, organised by Jason.
The bells pack a boomy, heavy and almost slightly intimidating sound to them, coupled with the tenor sally being a substantial distance above its box and the rather long draft. They do have to be continually worked, however, they are very rewarding and the sound outside is said to be a fine one. A basic mix of Grandsire, Plain Bob, plain hunt and Plain Bob Major was respectably rung. We did consider Cambridge Minor on the back 6 but ran out of time!

Me messing up the coils in the lower🤣 (don't feel I did too badly mind you, considering I haven't rung a bell of more than about 7cwt for over a year)
